like many generalisms, this one just does not hold water. as in any other profession, there are good ones, bad ones, and many in between. i personally know many many police offices due to the nature of my work and some i consider personal friends. what you are saying is offensive at a personal level. I have never understood why people on the internet feel that it is OK to talk trash like this other than to provoke a flame war. frankly, i feel bad that you have had such negative experiences with leo.

Its because they are usually people with extremely low self esteem who like to sound like a hard ass and a tough guy, but they are really very weak and disrespectful... and the internet is a perfect outlet for it!! Just another form of weakness. Unfortunately age is not always a factor.
btw, my wife is a cop, and a damn good one, and I would normally take a comment like that personally, but because of the above analogy, I pay it no mind.

cops are great if u know them personally like my neighbor and uncle and friend but when they are on the job and encounter people they dont know and are just doing their jobs. They are absolute cunts.

I know many police officers and some I consider good friends. Others I dislike, but to say you would smile if one gets killed is a remark I also find very offensive.

Best thing I heard all day!!! Unfortunately every Cop I have ever had the privilege of meeting has screwed me over, never had a good experience with a cop. My probation officer was nice as hell though.:shoot5:

I'd love to see you guys go out and deal with the shit law enforcement has to on a regular basis and then comment. They risk their lives for minimal pay and have to put up with racist blasts and verbal abuse all day.
Nobody likes cops until you need one and then it's "please help".
Usually cops show up when something isn't right. No cop has ever come into the library and started asking me questions and harrasing me.
OTH, many cops have stopped and talked to me when out drinking and acting like an ass.
For all you haters...please don't ever call the cops when you get robbed, shot, mugged, car accident, or anything else so they can spend there time keeping us "non-haters" safe.

Ironically, the only cool cops I have ever dealt with were the ones arresting me for an assault charge haha. In my opinion it's never real fair to generalize anyone. There are bad apples to every group of people. Unfortunately, there seem to be more dickhead cops than cool ones, but I don't hate the po-lice, nor would I ever wish anything bad on a cop.

because I can say whatever the hell I feel like, I would tell you the same in person. There would be a "flame war" if i just said I dont like dr. pepper. People like to argue on here anyway so what difference does it make? Yes I hate cops, I have every reason in the world to. Theyve abused their authority countless times and not helped me or my family when I needed it. I even have cops in my family. Someone that takes advantage of innocent people they are sworn to protect and even take bribes or help the criminals they are supposed to stop deserve death in my eyes. They serve no purpose on this earth other than to bring it into further decay and abuse their own power to help only themselves. Sure there are some good cops but Ive never met one.
You know, now that you mention it..I still dont give a shit. My opinion stands. Guess its because Im so weak minded lmao. You ever run into a burning building son?

to be honest IRON i think your being a bit harsh.but being an x fireman and x corrections officer i can see where your coming from..i feel the upmost respect needs to go out to fireman but you got to give it to the cops to man...weve had 6 cops killed down here already in broward, fl from just random stops...
its pretty scary going out in the morning to work leaving your kids knowing theres a possibilty you might not make it back..
