Hobbies?

So, I'm interested in what all of our members like to do? Let's get to know each other. :D
 
honestly i dont do much besides work, hang out with my wife and son, and hit the gym when my wife will let me:D... i do play softball when i can....but thats about it.... im a sports freak, but as far as being able to participate, my schedule just does not let me:(
 
I myself love to go fishing and camping....but rarely have the time. Not with a 10 month old, and working on my degree, and a return to work in the near future. I used to be into softball too, but no more. I also like to go bowling, and I used to horse-back ride all the time....but 12hr+ shifts forced me to sell him, as he needed more time and attention than I had to give :(

Come on, where are all of our members?
 
I ride with a group of people on the weekends. Going to the gym, cleaning my car and my bike, and whatever else I can do.
 
i love bowhunting for whitetails--been hunting since i could walk lol--theres something about being in the woods watching all of gods creation waking up in the morning--it just makes me feel at peace

i do fish once in a while aswell

LOL You have time to hike? With all these boards? I would love to go to British Columbia and hit those trails..I hear they're spectacular.
 
Spend alot of time with my wife and daughters, we snowboard in the winter and in the summer we go to the beach, where we camp and play in the dunes in our Jeep and our atv's
Going to the gym and posting on boards is about the only thing I do without my family
By the way, my wife is a labor and delivery RN...so she works alot...

Sounds like fun!! My husband would love all that, but there's no where around here for that stuff. I thought of venturing into L&D...but around here the hours and available work are up and down...not very reliable.

Eh... kinda. The wood is turned on a lathe (spins the wood very fast)... then you can shape and form the wood to your heart's desire... using a varity of tools.
It is the process that they use to make baseball bats and table legs.
 
Oh, OK, I know what it is now...I've watched it done at fairs and stuff...cool!

hobbies... not free time... hmmmmmmm tough stuff to answer........

maybe hike.... done that a few times in the Rockies, just lower Rockies in northern New Mexico....

ummmm...... don't know what else to put here :confused:

I like hiking too but there aren't many good places here.
