Last year I was around 12%BF at 192lbs after running a test/deca cycle. I injured my back and took a long 6-7months off and let my diet go the hell.

About 4 weeks ago I checked by BF and started a strict diet to cut all of the fat kid off. I was shocked how much crap weight that I gained and that I realy lost all of the lean mass from last year.

4 weeks ago I was 183 at a whopping 19.8%! I'm down to a measly 170 and am now at 13.1%. Pretty nice in terms of cutting, but I'm not happy about the fact that I'll level out around 165lbs when I'm at 10%, my goal before my next cycle.

heavy squats and deads help me to put mass back on when I'm coming back. Last year after being off for 4 months I had sucked down to 195 at 12%. Before I went back on I started squatting and dead lifting again and put on 7 lbs of good weight in 3 weeks.

Bro i'm with you on this. I've had 2 knee surgeries in the past 1 1/2. My diet and physique had went to shit. I ate shit food ED and barely worked out. I went from 185lbs 12%bf and right now i'm 196lbs 18%bf. I'm back on my diet now and plan on getting to single digit bf.

Squats I can do, but I won't even attemp deads anymore becasue of my back. I was squatting 455 last August and I'm almost up to 315 last leg routine.

@ D, thanks bro. I know that I'm not the only one out here in this type of situation, but it does suck knowing what I looked and felt like last year. My own doing, no doubt.

Stay at it bro you'll get back there in time, looks like I'll be right there with you soon I was told yesterday I would be having another knee replacemnt soon as they did a bone scan and some other test which really sucks becuase I had just got past 250# where I was when they did the last replacement on Dec of 2010 today I'm at 259# and about to start a major vut I just hate to loose most of my gain when I do have this up coming surgery.. The last time I seen 160# I was in 9th grade and looked like a cancer patient.. lol Anyway Muscle memory will bring you back to where you was pretty quick so don't give up bro..

you will get it back in time bro. My body hates weight on it, so if i take a week or 2 off i loose results. I can get to 240 and look good, but i busted my leg years back and had to stay laying down. So perks, food and sleeping, i was 270 and a slob, got to 240 still a slob, got down to 180lbs and looked like a Tennis players i was ready to cry.

THAT is funny stuff. I hear you, I'm down to 166 and leanest I've been in about 20 years. I hate the number on the scale, but don't look too bad. I'll never be 200+ like you guys, I just can't make the commitment to do that. My job and family responsibilities won't let me be that dedicated to eating and resting the way I'd need to for my body to carry that much weight.

I see guys that are my height fighting at 155lbs and look lean & muscular. I don't want to be 155, but I'm thinking that a goal of 185 and 8-10%BF is reasonable for me (I'm 5'8"). Still going to take work to get there and when I do, I'll shoot for smaller goals, a couple pounds here and there while maintaining my BF at or below 10%.

I have to say that I've got my nutrition and diet NAILED for the first time ever. What really helped me was running a CKD about a year ago, it really made me learn and understand macro's, timing, etc... much more than ever.

It's all good for me, but if I start to look like a Kenyan runner I might have to do something drastic :laugh4:
