How do I not feel like a PAB?

Some of you remember me from that other site, I'm 39 and I perform in a wrestling show, been on stage doing that since january, been practicing over a year an a few months.
I just found out that the direction of the storyline I wanted to be in doesn't involve me, the talk for over a year has been that they would be putting the belt on Gary, an still they haven't put it on him.
The person who gets the final call on who gets the belt is the current champ. I talked with him at practice an it seemed I had a chance, but from his recent postings on the wrestling forum make it clear that he's dropping the belt to Gary.
I have nothing against Gary, he's put in a lot of hard work, but I think I've put in more, an my matches look different every time, even when I had two matches a night, I would perform different moves for each charactor.

So yeah I feel like a PAB "Punk A** Bi*tch".

I feel like I put in the work an I should get the strap. I pitched a storyline that I would fued with the Current Champ, win the belt, then loose the belt at the next show. Because it makes no sense for me(the good guy) to hold the belt for any length of time, I feel I should win it, an then be a "former" champ trying to get the belt back and chase the bad guy.

I should mention that we have two belts, the World title, an the Middle-weight title, no matter how big you are you can be a Middle-weight. The world title is currently the more "entertainment" belt, an the Middle-weight belt is the "wrestling" belt. I want the wrestling belt, cause it means I put on a good wrestling match, not just that I can wear a fancy costume an have people chanting my name.

At 39 I realize I probably shouldn't do this for too much longer, maybe just another year or so. So I think that since it's been talked about forever that Gary would get the belt, how long would I have to wait...

Well have a show to get ready for tonight, beating up one of our newbies, got to remember to thank him for taking the whooping.

:cockblock

Just keep putting in your time, yeah you feel punked on but it happens. Work on putting out good product and keep paying your dues. It will come.

Ugh, Paul, I am so sorry they are being that way. Like Brad said, stick it out, put in some more time, and if you aren't hearing talk about your winning the belt, and you really think you should end the wrestling career due to your age, then do so. It's still just been a year, and sometimes you have to play team politics. Think about things you can do outside of the ring, like your t-shirt sales, that can draw a larger crowd of supporters. I hope things start to turn around though, quickly.

Thanks for the support Cathy an Brad.
We'll find out about the shirt sales by the end of the month, we have the show tonight, an on the 26th.
The Politics suck, but also some of these guys are pretty flakey, an that was an arguement last week. Me an another guy suggested we plan out a show two weeks in advance, two of the three founders got pretty mad about that.
So tonight I'm not sure who(or in what charactor) I'm wrestling.
I'm hanging in there, putting in the time, an tonight I'm going to put on the best match I can.
An Cathy the age is a bit of an issue, but I'm still in better shape than the rest of the roster. I need to know where I'm going, a goal an I'm not sure these guys get that. If I'm going to take a beating I want to know it's worth it.

just so you know, saying "punk ass bitch" is cool on here, we arent gonna sensor you, just calling someone else (bashing) is inappropriate. so feel free to rant away. any word is free game.

When the title said PAB I was worried about reading it because I thought you meant the female test type thingy.

You know they go the the gyneo to get their PAB test. lol

you mean a PAP smear?

Well I've known Cathy Flora for quite a while, I know what a sensitive little lady she is. I didn't want to put out such foul language around her. HA!

An yeah, it is PAP smear, not PAB smear.

Still didn't get much respect tonight, instead of the singles match I got added to a tag match to help set up two other guy's title match at our big show on the 26th.
One of these days Simon is going to have to let me take lead.
The new guy(Luke) that was his tag partner did well, absolutely no self confidence, but he still fallowed well, an since it's his second time on stage that's all you can ask.
Time to shower an go to sleep.

I was going to say, I've never had a PAB test done. I didn't know if I was missing something or not. I guess not.

Putpo, I'm not a girl but something tells me you aren't missing anything, weather it's a PAB or a PAP.
Back to topic however, below is a message I sent about the match, an the reply I got.
Now I know I'm not the best seller, but I thought I sold the "eye rake" an the "rake the nails down the back", as for not selling the WMD, he was the new guy, an he was nervous, an new guy trusted me to take lead, he didn't do any offense to sell.
I also know I'm not the greatest thing since sliced bread, my fans are there, and in the absense of the major draws I know I do well.
It's not just Simon, but others act like I'm all cocky, I still show up early to set up the chairs, an I assume that some of the crap I get is because they have had people in the past think they were all that an then some.
I understand to not get a big head, but hearing something positive once in a while would that be such a bad thing. One of the first things I did after getting home last night was to send a myspace message to the new guy(luke) who was WMD that he did a good job, because I realize he's more nervous than I am when I first went out there.
I think I came to the decision that one more year will be the limit. I hope I can leave as well as others have left.

I don't mind the move. I minded your selling or lack there of. You fucked up the beginning spot and than when it was time to get your ace whooped to set up the hot tag for Draven you would no sell and then tag out. My main is your selling it was terrible and you no sold so much shit your not as big as you think you are. I hope you noticed the shots getting harder the longer you no sold WMD and my offense from me. Get your shit in the early stages is what I said. I know I talk a million miles an hour when setting up a match but, if you dont understand everything STOP ME and ask me to go back don't just ok me when you don't get it.

I hear I surprised you, I picked the curb stomp up from Cheerleader Mellissa, I've been watching a bunch of Shimmer an MsChif.
Eric told me you had used that once, but not any more, so I was actually going to do that to Luke when I thought I was going to have a singles match.
I remember someone telling me to get my shots in when I can, oh that was you.
But if you don't want me to do the curb stomp again I'll understand, I got more out of one one Shimmer DVD than a few years of watching WWE.
So Foodfight got set up, I didn't hear anything about staying out there, just come out at the end of the Mcfondle deal.
I think this was our best outing, I could even hear you, everything we have done in the past I could not hear a word you were saying.
Don't party too hard.

After reading that, can I point out that if he said or wrote something like that to me, the next time I was in the ring with him, he would get a for real powerbomb. There are better ways to get your point across, AND just worrying about how YOUR stuff looked in a tag match is disrespectful.
Who is that jackass?

Yea, what Brad said. Sound like this guy takes himself a bit too seriously. Sure if he was completely professional (which obviously by his email you can tell he is not) as a wrestler I would not want to let him down, but this guy has som serious delusions of grandeur!

Who is Simon, he used to be the trainer(wrestling instructor), an he's one of the two bookers(guy who sets up the matches).
I actually think I sold for him pretty well, but honestly 6'1" 240 can only sell so much for 5'8" 135. I'm not Ric Flair.
I just sent the video guy a message to get on making a copy of the match, so I could see where I got cheap shotted, I know the double suplex I took didn't go as it was suppossed to, I landed on my ass instead of my back.
As a big guy I try not to work too stiff, an I hate having too, an Brad I know of what you speak, but I'm more of a amature style instead of a power move guy, I can wrap him up an make him tap.
Cathy I'm not sure "serious" is it, it's more "living your gimic" as we say. But yeah "unprofessional" has been an opinion about several people, not just Simon.
For the most part I'm doubtful that I'll have to wrestle him again, an if I do it might not be pretty.
Thanks for the support.

I do have a funny story to share about PAP tests. My Aunt was working as a medical assistant, she would pull records for the patients that showed up, one day she pulled the records for this one lady, an noticed there was no PAP test, she asked the nurse, the nurse had to explain to my Aunt that "if you weren't born a lady" then you don't have a cervix.

Ok good news, got a plan for an upcoming storyline, one in which the banana would save the gorilla, and the gorilla would fall in love with the banana and interfere in matches without my permission, cost me a few matches.
So not everyone hates me.

Yeah size differences. Can make selling a bit difficult at times. Take a look at the tape, and have someone else look at it also, see what they say.
Guys who book should not wrestle, causes a bunch of problems, being a trainer he should know that.

As for the powerbomb, you set up he spot like nomal, but instaed of selling the drive down to the mat, you REALLY drive his ass through the mat. Gets your point across, I had to do that a couple times in matches.

Actually the Simon issue is a dead one.
As a trainer, he should know how to do a suplex, he also went backstage after the match an told everyone how much I sucked and didn't sell.
I didn't sell a botched suplex, and landed right next to my tag partner, so I tagged out, which is what he's been bitching about to everyone, I was suppossed to sell the "big move".
So yeah, I'm thinking he screwed up on purpose, then blamed me for not selling.
For those who don't know when you give a suplex to someone, you fall backwards, and the person being suplexed lands on their back, not their ass.
Simon just dropped me and stood there rather than falling backwards.
Simon is supposed to be moving on in a few months, moving back east, stiff shots I can deal with, but screwing up a move on purpose, he's dead to me.
Yeah I'll get on the video guy, watch the match.
We've got a big show at the end of the month, my match in that show is with Gary, a guy who likes to script absolutely everything, we've had the match written out since March.
Thanks Goblin.

are we talking about Gary Bykov, author of the "all-time favortie workout system"?

That would be a no, the Gary I'm talking about is a computer guy.
And as with all of the wrestlers I work with they aren't health nuts like us, I can tell during matches when they get winded when I'm ready to keep going.

They have all been quiet since thursday.
I should be able to get a copy of the show by next week, that is if I nag our video guy enough.
