get my inner, upper pecs to stand away from my collarbones?
I have a very wide chest.
Any kind of barbell press is difficult because of a stab wound in my left forearm.
I have a torn shoulder tendon, but can still do presses, but not heavy yet.
Any tips?
 
Steep incline bench with dumbbells. That's a hard muscle to fully develop and seems to disappear quickly once you lay off the weight and start dieting down. Your going to have a hard time with your forearm and shoulder messed up. ;)

Exactly! Genetics play a big role in it. I use more cable incline flys or db flys.
 
Yes what these guys said and one more... they helped me alot:

I dont know what they are called if they have a name, but grab a couple DBs and lay down on a 45 deg bench. Hold the DBs together in front of your chest so they are touching. Push them straight up and back down for reps, keeping them together. Get into the 15 rep range and do alot of sets. Do this last on chest day after all the other stuff including suggestions above.

Your upper chest will blow up.

Like most already stated, incline movements. Concentrate on squeezing the shit out of that region of your pecs at every contraction and do a slow and controlled negative. I prefer incline DB presses at about 35-40 degrees.
 
igf spot inj's and also doing your flyes with thumbs facing each other instead of palms like normal
 
Just thought of another.. I used to do them and everyone always liked the idea. Grab a 30lb plate and squeeze it together infrint of you with your palms. (so your hands cover the hole where the bar goes) similar to darkness said but with a plate. With the constant pressure applied inwards works the pecs then raise and lower which will hit the delts but you'll be amazed with the amount it works your pec from squeezing!!
 
Darkness, am I reading your reply right, u talking about closegrip incline bench right? Mrhtbd: I always lead out chest days with heavy incline db presses the as last movement I do upward cable rows on the crossover rig. Palms upward and inwards hip level at start then bring up just above head level hold and squeeze like a motherfucker. Gotta stand a little ahead of centerline and angle chest out and up like your doing a tittyshot for playboy. Hope this makes sense. I start with inclines cause god blessed me with tits that I'm trying to build a cheat out of!
