What are the best, safest, and cheapest ways to get rid of used pins? I've used different methods over the years. I find bio hazrd boxes from pharmacy are the most expensive way. What do you all do?

I just throw them away. A smaller bag of pins from the trash can wadded up inside of the bag of trash that goes out to the curb.

I used to remove the barrels and toss pins in old/empty shampoo bottles, coffee cans, jars, etc.

these days I don’t make much unnecessary effort.

Same here.

Liquid fabric softener bottle. I super glue the lid. If someone wants in there they will need a knife to just cut it open. Sometimes I’ll use different containers but that’s my first choice.

Empty gallon water or protein plastic bottles thrown away in a recycle dumpster at work.

Usually in an empty can or bottle then in the trash...

I use empty Arizona Tea jugs because they are thicker than a typical jug and when they are full, I write with a sharpie biohazard and then dump it in garbage.

I toss mine in a empty container, whatever is already in the recycling bin and toss in a garbage bag with garbage.

I just toss them in the recycling bin when I am done with them.  No sense wasting that plastic:D

I drink a lot of water and I use bottled water, blame it on the Middle East....  Anyway, I usually drop them inside an old water bottle and screw the cap back on.
