Ok, so Astronomers made a miscalculation? What are you going to do, find every error ever made in science so that you can to attempt to "prove" that science is false and the bible is correct?

more than likely. Kindof makes you wonder..if a couple smart highschool kids can think up something that goes fucking thousands of miles on a gallon then what the hell is so hard about the major car manufacturers using the same technology or ideas to come up with a more practical car with similar gas mileage? Theyre just as crooked as the oil companies now it seems..
 
^common bro, lol the feds are making too much revenue off the gas taxes, plain and simple. They can make a vehicle that wont use any fossil fuels, but you think they are going to market it? no! because too many ppl are making billions off oil. Thing is ppl don't know but we are much, much more advanced than they want us to know.

..thats what I meant by them being crooked :D. And whats sucks more is theres not a whole lot we can do about it

Sad thing is that they don't think or care that its effin up the environment. Alot of ppl don't believe still in global warming. Maybe when more major events happen they will take notice.

I believe in it but I don't think it is an issue in the big picture.
Look at gas prices, we squash technology to benefit the few.
 
its all about supply vs demand..It will be a big pic if something drastic happens. Prob is they dont see it happening or even when, so its like the "Peter Principle".

These people are known as 'The Establishment'. Royal families, billionaires, the people who put GWB in power etc. It is us, the common working person, who makes these folk rich by just being here, paying taxes and for goods that are totally out of context with what they're worth (fuel, medecines, houses, water, alcohol, tobacco etc) I flew back from Nigeria a few yeas ago, in the duty free shop they had cigarettes with 'Made in England' on the carton for $10 a carton of 200 (around 5 pounds), in the UK, the same smokes are over 50 pounds - no import duty or transportation to pay for and they're 10 times the price!
 
The car may get great mileage but it is practical? No. Can it pass safety standards? No. Can it be mass produced? Maybe, but you would have to redesign all the manufacturing plants in order to handel the new design, unless of course you want to build new plants.

Big oil as you call it provides billions to the economy and the environment. Big oil does more to help the environment than any other industry so stop blaming them for the world problems.
 
big oil is always getting screwed with fees up the ass for environmental shit. They donate and donate to every cause known to man kind, but everybody just shits on them. I would love to have them stop giving anything to anybody for a year and then see how much hate they get.

Shit the Persian Gulf is where all the billions are going (our money). You ever see all the luxury hotels homes and business that are being built there?? Hell, even Trump is investing in Dubai, lol! The only thing tax revenues are helping is the feds, oil consortium, and big bankers. And you say these big oil companies are donating alot, lol what an effin joke! BP or Exxon etc..will throw like a measly 20-30 million out into some kinda green fuel and make a commercial like there are investing alot. You know what 20-30 million is like to these companies?? its like a millionaire giving a dollar to charity. Its a pathetic joke and most ppl buy into it thinking they really care. Trust me they don't. If they donate, its because they have to with all the hundreds of billions they are making.
 
We alone are not supplying all the money to the UAE, then entire world is helping. Trust me, the oil companies donate a lot more than 20 mill to charities.

They also spend millions if not billions on alternative energy technology as well. Windmills, geothermal, methane, etc.

Furthermore, if you look at the profits from a percentage standpoint they're only clearing about 13%, far lower than pharma companies. Hell, the hotel industry made over 30% increase last year.

The amounts they make are big because they are dealing in big amounts. If you bought 2MM in stock, and I bought $5, do you think I would be pissed cuz you made more money? No.

You want to save money? Stop sending $15BN to Africa for Aids bullshit.
 
^Blah, blah, blah, You know anything about how much these oil consortium ppl make, lol It is outlandish. They could buy 3-4 of the major companies in USA and not think twice. Sure the percentages might be the same, but they are make much much more returns and from more than one market. They HAVE to throw $ away to offset the money they make. And who in hell sends $ to Africa for aids???, lol I don't, and if some cleb wants to, its their perogative. You have no idea how much $ and luxuarys these ppl live LARGE. You have no concept, because you cant even imagine. They live a very dif life then you can dream of.
