Three years of work and I finally got the dining room finished (well, except for repainting the window area).
The girls picked out the paint and I like it.
It reminds me of depression glass, ya' know, the green kind?
The floor was a painstaking task, but just made the rest of the room look bad, so I went on the attack.
This picture was taken from the formal living room.
Oh, and the windosill still has painter's tape on it.
That's what the dark uneven line is.
I told the wife, "The best part about it is, I'm never doing it again!!!"
Enjoy!

very nice. is that real hard wood or laminate?

It's 5/16 white oak from 1972.
I had to use an acid wash several times over spots to remove the urine stains from the previous owner's dogs, so, hey Bateman, no dogs anytime soon. LOL

3 years! Remind me not to hire you by-the-hour! Lol

Damn nice quality fella

Nice work brother. That floor looks great.... that's what I miss about construction. The ending results is what is the most rewarding. Give yourself some time. I guarantee you will tackle another monster project. Pain always goes away with time and you forget. At least I do... I keep torturing myself through life with projects. :)
