I'm and getting my first tattoo

Yep, got an appt next Thursday night. Getting some of my Army stuff on my upper back. I can't be the only guy without one. We were just at a pool in Vegas a few weeks ago and I swear I was one of the only people there, guy or girl that didn't have one. My wife even has a couple. I gotta be trendy, it was a toss up between a unicorn tramp stamp or Army stuff, hard decision..:D

I'm sleeved out and large tats on my back and chest. biker tats. Wish I had never done it now. But I have to admit I am prouod of them when I take my shirt off at the beach and all the mothers grab thier children and move away from the wife and I.
 
i always suggest a unicorn jumping over a rainbow as a first tattoo--LMAO!

I'm starting with a CIB and Air Assault badge surrounded by the American Flag.
 
I got a ton of ink , some good , some shitty . some I regret and some I love , Some of its visable in my pics as youve noticed already .You will love your ink , take the plunge and get er done ....And no I will not post the pic of the Fly tattoo I have on the head of my root .

I think my wife has talked me into getting it on my left upper arm cause she says i should be proud of it and no one will ever see it on my back unless i am shirtless.

Dope on a rope eh? I'm a wind dummy myself. Been contemplating jump wings on my chest for years...guess it's time to get with the program. :yesway:
 
No tats for me either, but i've wanted some for awhile. If I had been in the service, i'd definately get one. I may get something with the American Flag anyway....though my fiance doesn't like them, so i'll have to figure a plan out...lol.

Jumping out of a perfectly good plane makes no sense. Helicopters crash all the time so I wanted out of that sucker..Lol
 
I have no ink either. Workout partner told me I need one. I said fuck I do. I ain't got one now and I ain't needin' one either.

Yes, that's an awesome choice that you can't go wrong with.

I have plenty of ink and in the process of finishing off my left arm sleeve in the next month.

They are for some and aren't for others. I do it for me though... so don't worry about what anyone else thinks or doesn't. So many people pass judgment on others.... I don't care what others think though. Good luck. You will be proud when it's done.

The only other advice is to get someone decent. Nothing worse than getting some crappy artist. I have and had to do cover ups already twice. :)

Yeah, I really did research on the right dude to do it. It took me 2 months wait for my appt. He has dude a lot of buddys and a few military type that I really liked, but I am still nervous.
 
If i was ever gonna get a tattoo it would be my kids names with some background but probably nothing else.
 
I'm going to get mine removed at some point, althought they weren't done very well in the first place.
 
I have a wolf tattooed on my arms. I will upload a pic. of that.
