Im going to be starting an online trading account soon

i've read some posts here and there about online trading. I am a newb at this but I have done a little bit of homework to know the very basics of financial markets.

who here has portfolios?

I'm very seriously into it, you need to go to Morning Star and start reading, the best free site out there. Once your ready there are several good online trading sites, Money and Fortune give them a rating every year, go to their sites and you can choose based on thier recommendation.

Heres two free ones for you, look into Fidelty Canada and Mattews China, I have made a ton on both in the last 6 months. Remember to try and buy only No-Load Mutual funds. If you have any other questions feel free to ask, I'm no expert but I've made a 24% return last quarter.

If you would like to just play around withouth using real money first in some of my finance courses in college we used marketwatch to do simulations throughout the semester.
