injury

i have a dreaded injury i was doing so well too im soo sad right now....
basically its my elbow im going to the docs now. but i was doing chest regular day as usual and no matter what weight im using well i can still do light weight i guess but about 3/4 of the way down my elbow(right) will just give out now. on medium weight i can still handle it and countinue to workout but on heavy weight not a shot i need full control on that last part of the rep.... anyways as my workout went on the pain got really bad so i stopped early and did some cardio even during cardio it was killing me and i wasnt moving my arms so i called it quits. i rested it n its feeling better but i can still feel pain if i flex my bicep which is weird cuz when i flex my tricep it doesnt hurt, also when i rotate my arm i can feel a small pop right in the joint like tendon or something i dunno............ anyone have an injury like this before? anyway to speed recovery up lol.... i dont want to stop working out
 
Sorry to hear that Joe, best wait to see what the doctor says. I went yesterday because my shoulder has been really bothering me and he told me that I have a rotator cuff tear. i won't know how bad until I get an MRI.
 
doctor said its nothing serious but did give me anti inflamitory and is making me do some physio theorpy to speed up recovery time
 
Glad it nothing serious , However any injury sucks but needs time to heel properly , I have been through shoulder surgery and Knee surgery and they both were caused by lifting and not taking care of myself when my body told me to stop or slow down .
Your Body is the best indicator of pain , weakness and etc ,,,it will warn you , and let you know you need to slow down or stop and rest . Listen to your body and obviously the doctor and pamper that elbow back to recovery .
Easier said than down for sure but its better to avoid serious injury .
