So apparently it's illegal in Japan to take the drug she's been taking currently and past years for her ADHD. Hence, she wasn't allowed to take it. Some think the withdrawals could be the reason she's mentally fuqqed up and quit. Yet in this vid, this guy who is a drug brainiac, who also has been on the same meds for ADHD, says the drug is a helluva PED - increasing mental focus, clarity AND physical performance. Good stuff...

Both Ritalin and Adderall are excellent at mental clarity and keeping focused. They help control levels of two chemicals in your brain, dopamine and norepinephrine, that affect how well you concentrate.

Well yeah! Ritalin should be a banned substance for the Olympics, period! It’s chemically related to amphetamine. If she tried to stop taking it she would have crashed hard. No way she would have been able to compete at an elite level going thru withdraw. And u will go thru withdraw. I was prescribed it when I was younger. I started abusing it and taking my months worth in about a week. Taking extra before a competition would definitely give her an advantage. And there would be no way to monitor that.
