I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." (Genesis 12:2-3)

if you look at all the nations who are based on the christain values and and support Isreal and America..they are they are thriving nations....check those who arent..third world countries....countries that been at arms and war for thousands of years....poor countries even though they have big time commodities....Iraq with its oil...they could be one of the richest nations around...africa with their commodites....but yet some of the poorest nations around....why....why is America, Australia, Britian, most parts of christian germany and Switzerland so thriving......why....why are third world countries and most countries with most hunger, disease, and homeless problems dont believe in Christianity as awhole....dont make sense huh...bet yet...hummmmmmmmmmm....check out the common deminator...

tell us why they arent a friend and an ally....give us your insight bro..and tell us where we or I went wrong interpreting the bible...

The original people God speaks off are called Isrealites from the land of Judah, however, that is not that same group of people who occupy the country of Isreal today. You would be led to believe that the jewish people who reside in Isreal today are so called "Gods chosen people" as is said in the bible, but that is completely false. I would be happy to outline the entire text if you like explaining decendants and whatnot. The people who live and reside in Isreal today, Jesus clearly explains who they are in the book of Matthew.

but that doesnt negate that the country of Isreal will never be taken over and 144 k that will preach the word....
yes bro outline it all and tell me why Isreal is not the nation, God is speaking of......

Allo my friend, I do see quite clearly, I am waiting for this outline you spoke of; in the mean time here is some thoughts:

The Jewish people are God's "chosen people". There is absolutely no evidence in the Bible where God rejects the Jewish people as His chosen people. They are God's people by covenant. To Abram (Abraham), He said that He will make of him a great nation. (Genesis 12:2) He has also said that He will bless those who bless them and curse those that curse Israel. (Gen. 12:3) Throughout history, every nation that has oppressed or cursed the Jewish people are either no longer in existence or have had to suffer various consequences as a result; examples:Germany and ancient Egypt.

Paul, a Jew, wrote most of the entire New Testament or some of the books were based on His letters. "Salvation is of the Jews" (John 4:22). Jesus came to save the Jewish people. He is still the Messiah of the Jewish people. Romans 1:16 says that "It is the power of God unto salvation to the Jew first, then to the Gentile."

Isaiah 45:17 says, " [But] Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end."

Israel will always be God's chosen people.

As BK stated; in Revelation 7:4-8, 144,000 Jewish will have the seals of God written on their foreheads. God will not break His covenant with the Jewish people.

Isaiah 49:6 also says, "And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth."

Do not believe lies that God is not the God of the Jewish people, he is now and always will be.

The modern day Israelites are for the most part descendents of Abraham. Becoming a Jew is not as simple as becoming a Baptist or a Muslim. The Jews are a race, not just a religion, and your thinking on this matter is flawed. Please show proof to the contrary.

Problem being is throwing people off roofs and mustard gassing your own people is not part of Muslin law; it is borderline genocide.

With that mentality we should of left Hitler alone, and then we would not have lost 10's of thousands in WWII.

Us being there is doing no good. I have been there, walked the filthy streets, kicked down doors, pushed trash out of the way to sleep on the floor ect. The Iraqis are unwilling to fight for their own freedom, we gave their country to them on a silver platter, and they won't take it. Why do you think they have been battling for years to get people to join their military? Because they want Americans to do it for them.

And they do not want a democracy, they want Shia rule, instead of Sunni rule. And our president and all of his corporate buddies are making way too much money to let this war end anyways.

Fuck the Iraqis, to hell with them all. They can stand up and fight or perish, either one suits me fine. I am tired of Americans dying and Americans paying to "liberate" (yeah right) the sub-human trash over there. Fuck em all.

The quote in Matthew when Jesus says "you people are the devil" is an analogy. EVERYTHING ELSE he said was an analogy, so why take this literally?

I give every conspiracy a chance, but this one has always made me laugh, almost as hard as the "dinosaurs lived 4000 years ago bullshit." I hear those Aryan Nation nutbags talk like that (especially when they try to say that Eve slept with Satan and had Cain the first Jew ) which is the most un-scientific crock of bullshit ever. If Cain was "the first Jew" then either all Jews died out OR one fourth of the world is Jewish (assuming that you actually believe that great flood stuff in the old testament.) Noah supposedly had 3-4 sons on the boat that "recreated" the human population after this flood and we are assuming that at least one of them had to of been Jewish. If that really happened Semetic DNA would be in about 1/4 of the world. Too bad that DNA testing can prove this to be utter horse shit.

Also an interesting thing about Cain if you buy the whole "Jewish people are the devil" bullshit, according to the theory, when Cain was banished he supposedly married into Nomadic Asiatic tribes. One problem with that, ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE IT WAS ONLY ONE FAMILY ON THE EARTH, so there would of been no tribes to marry into. That story has more holes than swiss cheese and the scientific community would die laughing at this crap.

I hate Zionism, not Jews, but we cant use some ancient text to "prove" anything along this line, being that ancient writings have little to no science involved.

Here's a commentary written by Ben Stein. I posted it before on IT, but I think it's extremly relavant:

The following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS Sunday Morning Commentary.

My confession:

I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish. And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejeweled trees Christmas trees. I don’t feel threatened. I don’t feel discriminated against. That’s what they are: Christmas trees.

It doesn’t bother me a bit when people say, “Merry Christmas” to me. I don’t think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it. It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. It doesn’t bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection near my beach house in Malibu. If people want a creche, it’s just as fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don’t like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don’t think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the concept came from that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can’t find it in the Constitution and I don’t like it being shoved down my throat.

Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship Nick and Jessica and we aren’t allowed to worship God as we understand Him? I guess that’s a sign that I’m getting old, too. But there are a lot of us who are wondering where Nick and Jessica came from and where the America we knew went to.

In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke; it’s not funny, it’s intended to get you thinking.

Billy Graham’s daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her “How could God let something like this happen?” (regarding Katrina) Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response.
She said, “I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we’ve been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?”

In light of recent events…terrorists attack, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O’Hare (she was murdered, her body found recently) complained she didn’t want prayer in our schools, and we said OK.
Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school. The Bible says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn’t spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock’s son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he’s talking about. And we said OK.

Now we’re asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don’t know right from wrong, and why it doesn’t bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with “WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.”

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world’s going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says. Funny how you can send ‘jokes’ through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Are you laughing?

Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you’re not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it.

Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.

Pass it on if you think it has merit. If not then just discard it.. no one will know you did. But, if you discard this thought process, don’t sit back and complain about what bad shape the world is in.

My Best Regards.

Honestly and respectfully,

Ben Stein

FYI Christmas trees have nothing to do with Christianity, they are actually a pagan symbol that was adapted when Europe was Christianized. Interesting fact, the tree actually represents a phallus. Feel kind of weird putting the Angel on top now? :D

No but to say your Christian and then state the Bible is not true is borderline ;)

According you you. I backed up what I said with logic and things that can be proven, you responded as "you are not a Christian." As most of our conversations go, game, set, match.

And I will keep saying it until it takes effect: I don't care what fundamentalists who believe whatever they are told even though they can be proven wrong think of me.

I backed up what I said with logic and things that can be proven,

Bro........... you have never proven anything to me. Just your conspiracy theories on why it is inaccurate nothing more.

Bro........... you have never proven anything to me. Just your conspiracy theories on why it is inaccurate nothing more.

You told me yourself that you would never believe even if I proved anything to you. Therefore it is not possible.

to answer your jewish question...here it is bro..

Bible Question:Was Noah Jewish? If not, when did God start the Jewish nation?

Bible Answer: Noah was not Jewish. If he was, we would all be Jews since the flood destroyed everyone expect for Noah and his family (Genesis 5:29-9:1). In Genesis 9:1-7, we find that God tells Noah to populate the earth.
Jewish Race. The Jewish race started with Jacob (Gen. 32:28). Even though circumcision started with Abraham, one of the key signs of a Jew, Abraham was not the direct father of the Jews. Abraham was the father of both the Jews and the Arabs since his sons were Isaac and Ishmael (1 Chron. 1:28). The Jews are descendants of Isaac and the Arabs are descendants of Ishmael. Therefore, it is not surprising that the Jews in Jesus' day considered Abraham to be their father. Listen to a conversation between some Jews and Jesus.
They answered and said to Him, "Abraham is our father." Jesus said to them, "If you are Abraham's children, do the deeds of Abraham. (NASB) John 8:39

The Name. The name "Israel" comes from Jacob (Isaiah 48:1) who was the son of Isaac and the grandson of Abraham (Genesis 50:24). Jacob had twelve sons who had many descendants. The descendants are called the twelve tribes of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. (1 Chronicles 2:1-2). These twelve tribes settled in the promised land of Palestine. Later they formed two kingdoms called the Kingdom of Judah and the Kingdom of Israel. The word Jew comes from the Kingdom of Judah.
Conclusion:The Jewish race started with Jacob.

bottom line IMHO is there are many interpretations among Christians what the bible says and means.....there are some areas that many Christians disagree with...but again IMHO...the most important part of the bible is Romans 10:9

Romans 10:9

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Romans 10:9 tells us that there are only two things needed to go to heaven and be with God.

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

The world we live in can be a scary place, but Romans 8:28 tells us that God is in control and reminds us that God has a plan to protect us and give our hearts peace. The plan is to have His son Jesus Christ pay the price for our mistakes, even though He did nothing wrong, so that we can have a perfect life in heaven, even though we don't deserve it.

He offers this because of His great love for you.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, so that whoever believes in Him will not die, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

Saving faith is trusting in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation.

'For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast.' (Ephesians 2:8,9)

Many people try to 'earn God's love' through doing good things and end up frustrated, bitter or judgmental. Then there are people who believe 'since I'm saved by faith, I can do whatever I want.'

The truth is both are wrong!

We are called to love one another. We obey god out of thankfulness for all that He's done. We are not saved by good works, but IF we are saved, then we will have good works.

Jesus said 'Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.' (Matthew 7:19-21)

If you don't have a time in your life when you remember asking Jesus to come into your heart, to forgive you of your sins and changed the direction you were heading in your life, today is the day of salvation! It's not a coincidence that you're hear reading this information.

'Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.' (Hebrews 3:15)

If you want to go to heaven, but you're not sure how to do that, you can call 1.800.NEED.HIM any time and someone will help walk you through the process.

If you're depressed or lonely, God does not expect you to deal with your problems alone! He has people praying for you right now that want to hear from you and walk alongside you in your journey. You can call some of them at 1.800.NEWLIFE

Psalm 143

Let's not forget the TWO commandments:

"And Jesus answered him, THE FIRST OF ALL THE COMMANDMENTS IS,
Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt LOVE THE
LORD THY GOD with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind,
and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And THE SECOND
is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none
other commandment greater than these." Mark 12:29- 31

I know bro, I was saying that I DIDNT agree with the Cain theory that some do. :)

I would never believe because you can not prove it, nothing more to say. You can theorize and hypothesize but can not PROVE it is wrong.

Yeah I cant PROVE that dinosaurs walked the earth either. But comparing the bible VS actual evidence ALL of the evidence points in the opposite direction. But you told me (and I can't remember the exact words you used,) but it was something like "If learning the truth means not believing in what I do, then I would rather remain ignorant." I wish I still had the pm but I had deleted it, as I hate to not be able to remember a quote in it's entirety.

You are going to believe what you are going to believe, no matter how little sense it makes. Whatever, it doesn't affect me. But don't expect me to believe things that can be proven false. My mind doesn't work that way. After all, I am sure I will pay for using my brain with eternity of suffering in hell, since you decide (and not me) that since I am not brainwashed by organized religion that I am doomed. Christianity has no room for thinking according to you. And that is the same line of bullshit they have used to control minds for centuries. Fine, whatever. I don't care what any of yall think about me. Go pound your bible somewhere else. And to be honest, I would rather not discuss anything religious with you at all. All you ever do is tell me that I am not a Christian because I dare to think and challenge things. I will believe what makes sense and I couldn't care less what you or anyone else think.

That is my point EXACTLY, to society the Bible does not make sense and hence why people do not believe it in its entirety. Christ does not make sense; why would almighty God care about us ???? Why send his son to die for any of us ????

Would you let your son get beat, tortured, spit on and hung on a cross for me, a total stranger ??????
Probably not ............. and like I said; it makes no sense.

That is mans way of thinking, if he can not see it, touch it or prove it than it must not be true. Jesus said the same thing to the Pharasis and he said they would NEVER see the kingdom of heaven because they wanted signs\proof in front of them and did not have FAITH.

Just beware ........................ broad is the road that leads to destruction. Do not be one of the masses.

I'm not getting into this one, just wanted to mention a side note.

I was watching "baghdad ER" the other night, a special on hbo. gritty uncut footage.. it was in an ambulance and this market got hit and these people lost most of all of their friends in an instant, and they were going on and on about please bring saddam back, it was bad before but nothing like this. it was pretty interesting to see that perspective...

I always wanted to travel some more but I will never set foot in the middle east ever.
