How do you find a persons social security number. I really need the SSN to this guy.

Donald L Sissom, he was a TN dept of corrections inmate and his birthdate is 1/06/1972. Are there any sites I can get it from? Free? LOL

That information wont be readily available because of identity theft problems bro.

I know there were some pay sites out there. Couldn't steer you a direction though, sorry.

Appreciate it ya'll. I have to drag this guy and his wife into court to get them out of my apartment. I filed the warrant on them this morning, and their eviction hearing is on the 17th. I had hoped to garnish the wages of their stupid asses for my money, but the lady down at the county clerks office told me some businesses won't do it unless you have the social security number. I had originally thought that getting my prospective SSN might be too much of a liability, but now I am going to have to so I can make sure I get my money if and when I have to file suit.

When ever you rent. ALWAYS get a photo copy of their license, SS card and W2. If they decline they are hiding something and aren't worth the hassle.

Hind site is 20/20 I k.ow.

You have any friends or relatives in law enforcement??? or a credit card company/loans somewhere they can get a credit report on the guy they always list ssn

You are right, and I see it now, although my way did work well for over 2 years, LOL. I will be doing this in the future. JP, I don't have anyone in those fields that I know off. Hahahahaha, this morning, I carted off their garbage and took it to my house and dug through it trying to find an old pay stub or some shit, LOL. Damn rednecks.

you really dont need a ssn for a lawsuit....that info is not easily gotten unless you are LE or the like.....if you know the employer and his typical info lke name and date of birth, that should be good enough for a wage garnishment.....as long as a judge grants it.

AFAIK, you can only garnish wages when a court determines that a debt is owed, and the court order--not the SSN--would compel the employer to deduct the money from his pay. You should consult a lawyer skilled in housing issues, and ask the court to enforce any judgement once it goes your way.

You are correct. I was in the courthouse the other day filing my warrant and such, and the clerk asked me if I knew the SSN of these two I am suing for money. She told me that some businesses won't abide by the court order if they(me) don't have the SSN on the wage garnishment paperwork. Apparently there might be two employees with the same name working there, I don't know. It is ok though, I got them for him and his wife, so all is good.
