I'm sure I'm not the only one who is glad Christmas is over with for another year. Each year I dream of having that picture perfect christmas with peace, love and harmony. Where all the childeren are greatful and happy with what they get. Well this didn't happen again.
It started off well going to my parents house for christmas eve dinner and to open presents from my family. We had a great dinner got some nice presents. The car ride home was another story. My mother is from the old school of cooking, real butter,ect. Well Lifts system will not work properly with these elements. Needless to say we drove home with the windows down. The upside was that it wasn't that cold out and it was only a thirty minute drive
Christmas Day was a little bumpy also. My daughter who only two week's before christmas picked out several things she wanted. Recieves these items only to say I don't like these anymore.
I just blew this off, she is twelve and I figure hormones. My oldest son wakes up opens his gifts yawns and goes back to bed for the day. The youngest boy lost his cord to his brand new cd player in the mess of empty wrappings on the floor never to find it. I have come to the conclusion Merry Christmas is a lie. That's why everyone wishes you this week's before.
