So right now I am running low dose accutane to combat an acne problem that I let go longer that I should have. The only side effect that I have gotten is that my joints, especially shoulders/elbows seem very dry and fragile, especially when I am training MMA. Will any supplement help this feeling and the burning I get within my shoulders when training hard or am I just asking for an injury? I just started taking Glucosamine at 1500mg/day Chondroitin at 1200mg/day and MSM at 1500mg/day. I also started taking flax oil caps to help. Does that sound about right?

Joint Juice is expensive but its like drinking juice or can easily be added to a shake. It add a nice boost of Gluc/Condr to and meal or snack.

I am guessing the Knox Nutra joint is basically gelatin and the medical community has known for years that powdered animal cartiledge helps heal knees and other joints.

Try taking 5-6 tbsn flax oil each day. Calorie dense, but will relieve joint inflammation in elbows, knees and rotator cuff faster than anything else. But the best glucosamine capsule on the market is Beverly joint care. Joint Care contains Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and MSM, as well as Vit C & E, manganese, boron, and evening primrose oil, which is now being praised as a wonder supp for sore joints. These come in big gel caps, and seem to work far better on rotator cuff and elbow soreness than any other glusamine supp I've tried. 3 capsules contain 1000mg Glucosamine sulfate.

I have found flax oil even more important than glucosamine for sore joints and tendons. Ever since Lakeville Thor convinced me to try 5 tbs per day, my elbows and rotator cuffs have been pain-free. Works like magic, and effects are noticeable soon after you start taking it. Plus, there are a multitude of nutritional benefits to be found in flax oil. I now take 4 Joint Care a day and 2-3 tbs flax as a maintenance dose. Fish oil is even more potent due to the EPA, but is far more expensive.

hi,

You can lessen the joint and knee pain and get back to your usual life. One of the effective and easy solutions is the regular consumption of glucosamine. This is a drug that helps in easing and calming out the swelling and pain caused in the joints due to arthritis. Glucosamine enables the afflicted person to stay active, youthful and energetic.
