I log in once in a while to read a few posts here and there. But not as frequent as back in the IT days. I still have a while to go to finish college since I've chosen to take the pre-med path and take the science courses needed for the requirements.

If there are any medical doctors here or any of you know any MDs, I am trying to talk to as many people as possible trying to pick their brain on how I should approach my pre-med process. any help would be greatly appreciated!

as of now, i Work out Twice a week just because I dont have enough time to rest/eat properly. I've lost alot of size, but Im still trying to stay in shape:

my workouts now look like this

monday -
incline bench, 3 sets x 5-8 reps
bent over barbell rows, 4 sets 5-8 reps
barbell shoulder presses, 3 sets 8-12 reps
Ez bar curls - 2 sets, 8-10 reps
skull crushers - 3 sets 10-12 reps

friday

deadlifts, 5 sets (135x10, 225x8, 315x5, 365x4, 405x2-3)
*i've worked hard to try to build up the ability to do this, i dont want to lose it, so i do this as maintenance. I recently started to do these with no straps too, which i feel proud of, lol.

squats(deep squats, ass to ground), 3 sets (135x10, 185x8, 225x6)

so yea.... thats pretty much it. I have a pullup bar at home so I do 3 sets a day in the morning. Slow and controlled to make sure my lats still retain some size. The way i see it, everything needs to be in proportion. If i increase the intensity of my workouts, my rest, nutrition, and gear deserves to be bumped up too.

but since i dont have time to rest and eat properly like i use to, more sets and workouts will just cause me to overtain and be too tired all the time. I still like to run some test @ 250-500mgs a week in 8 week cycles with time off. but nothing crazy anymore, just because the rest, nutrition and training doesn't warrant higher doses.

there are other priorities in life right now other than being bigger than the average person, and turning heads. but i will never stop working out all together.

Nice workout. I like the way you set it up, all the basics with power on the side. Good to hear you are moving ahead with your life.
Bobybuilding is great, but after awhile, even the brain needs a workout.

DAMN BOY, how is it going. I hear alot of pre med students go into prostitution to afford college and not have to take out as much in loans. Don't do it>>>LOL

i dont know why but i got this feeling that youre really good in MATH..:D
