I have made a decision in the best interest of the community, I will be stepping down and leaving MuscleMX behind. I've enjoyed my time here and you've given me something to be proud of. I will be selling this site to the highest bidder or company interested in buying MuscleMX.com. This site will be better off with a bigger company that is able to market MuscleMX and better manage the volunteer staff and members of this site. serious... I mean if that was the case that he "couldn't handle the heat" why not relinquish the site to someone. It was a great site and now it is gone because he didn't want us to continue on with our ways.
 
Hmm ... If I recall correctly I paid the monthly "membership" fee a year ahead. Since it is obviously no longer the site I signed up for I probably will inform the owner of the site that he owes me some money. ;)

ya i paid ahead too i wouldnt be holding my breath over that refund tho hun hehe
 
we got unlimited pic size and PM (so Antonio could read more) and uh.. hrmm what else was it we got LOL
 
no ads, arcade, flashchat. We also had a whole lot of stuff added on to the forum so it was a voluntary membership that helped with the cost of servers and bnadwiidth since we were regularly maxing out both.

Wasn't a charge for membership, but more of a donation to help keep the site going and making improvements to it. Things were eventually added for the supporting members that non supporting members couldn't have access to. It was actually rather impressive, we managed to get something like $2,400 donated in one month because the site was going to shut down due to server costs being too high.
 
By the way... he never mentioned it, but ONE sponsor was donating enough every month to cover the server costs.

i did the same membership!
 
I kinda have to laugh at the Server cost thing. I've been in a development company for ahwile and have lead thier IT staff. Our total cost of Web deployment per website is nowhere near what he claims. I always figured he either had no idea how to set it up economically or he was lying thru his teeth. I figured the later.
 
Its sad when familys have trouble, oh well....

I just hate that all that info will be lost! years of posts!

and I think the best interest for us was to step aside so we could continue using that awsome forum with all of our posts that had TONS of useful info on it.
Now I really wish I had printed out allthe pages I had bookmarked.....
