Low GI High GI???

just wondering what the difference is in carbs?? I don't want a study that gets all technical I just want it in retard terms. Also what is the benefit of each
 
Low GI - brown rice, sweet potatoes, oatmeal...is a excellent energy source for long term use

High GI - white rice, white bread, sugars, refined products....poor energy source and more likely to lead to fat gains

Go with Low GI carbs except PWO. Only time you want HIGH GI carbs is in your PWO drink.
 
that basically sums it up. If you want to stay as lean as possible while trying to put on some muslce, low GI carbs are the way to go (except PWO for some).
