Monthly Costs? -- input needed.

i wanna see all of what supplements you guys are taking and what it cost you guys monthly for them. i will be hitting it real hardcore beginning in september and ill be looking to put on about 70lbs of LBM in a year. i know that sounds crazy, but ive got the diet breakdown perfect, and ill be eating like im a 300lb bber so even though 70lbs is way over the top, im gonna set the goal real high. but i will be buying my own supplements and i need to know what all you guys take and how much you pay for each.
 
don't want to burst your bubble bro, but 70lbs is an impossible feat. It ain't gonna happen so no use dreaming it and then when it doesn't happen your heartbroken.
 
I wish you the best of luck anti..it's very hard to gain that much lean muscle mass even on tons of gear. Don't mean to burst your bubble, but try to set a realistic goal, say 15-20lbs of LBM which is dam good progress for a year.

As far as supplements, only things I use is creatine E and taurine. That's it. What's going to make you succeed will be the food you eat, training and recovery..
 
i ilke setting my goals unrealistically high, because it makes me push myself harder to try and prove what 'cant' be done actually can, and then i end up getting more out of it than i normally would.
 
what im looking at is using:

-multi
-protein
-cee
-bcaa/eaa
-green tea
-fish/flax oil
-nitric oxide

i beleive thats it, i need to go through some things and start making up formal lists and diets and such.

70lbs in a year damn. Maybe u could rig up one of those drug dispensers they use at the hospital for morphine and fill it full of suspension. Give yourself a shot every 2 hrs or so. Then maybe...................

I don't pay for supps, ever.. ;)

If you post pics (not photoshopped) of you with an extra 70lbs of muscle, I'll gain 80lbs the following year.. I like to make stops in little towns before I move to the next big city..
 
Antihero I'm sure you can't be serious about thinking you could possibly gain 70lbs of lean weight in a year. Just to gain 70lbs at all you would have to constantly increase you calories per day yet alone add lean weight. A more realistic goal for you might be closer to 10-12lbs, but even that you couldn't achieve every year.
 
Anti, 70 lbs of LEAN body mass in a year, is not gonna happen. And ok, you said yourself that you have set your goals unrealistically high...so therefore you know it's not going to happen. Set a more realistic goal. Even someone geared to the teeth is not gonna gain 70 lbs of LBM in a year.

If I were you, I would spend my money on buffness and do his program. You do not need a ton of supps.

don't think he's making a crack at you anti. All he's saying is what we've all said. If you gained 15lbs in a year, that's dam near perfect!! Don't get caught up with the guys you hear online that gain 30lbs of muscle in a few months..that's bullshit. It takes dam good genetics and a lot of gear to gain say 20lbs of Lean muscle mass in a year. 10-15lbs in a year makes a huge difference on how you will look. We are not trying to put down your dream anti, we are all No BS people. I think you'd rather hear the truth from people that want to see you succeed.

What he is saying anti, is that 10-12 pounds is a realistic goal for you- for most people in fact.... but YOU or ANYONE else is not going to be able to do that EVERY year. If peeps could put on that every single year, there would be an awful lot of mass monsters out there, don't you think?

And you know that his board is not gonna have all the bullshit that other boards do.
 
well, im goign to be eating (clean) like im 30-45lbs heavier than i am to begin with, and each month depeding on what i gained, i will be increasing the macros at each meal accordingly so that i will continue to be eating 30-45lbs heavier than i am. i will be using EVERY possible advantage to making my metabolism faster and turning myself into a blast furnace. 8 meals a day, light cardio, green tea, etc.
 
be prepared to gain some body fat. Your body will store all the access. That's why it's common to say increase 500calories of your current intake to begin adding more weight.

Why are you so defensive about someone just trying to help you get a realistic goal to shoot for?
 
Anti I went from 188lbs @ 18% BF to 210lbs @ 14%BF. That is probably 28lbs of muscle and that took around a year and a few months and this was with the help of "supplements".

I don't know if you will be using any, but I don't think i could of done much more than I did. Putting on 70bls in a year is damn near impossible and if it was posssible we all would be doing it.

no i wont be using gear, im too young for that, but i know that this type of goal setting is what i need to keep myself motivated and hungry
 
how do you guys get fish & flax, they are soo expensive.

im trying to get:

10g fish oil
20g flax

Get the big 200 softgel bottles, they're always cheap pending where you get it.. Oils these days you can find high-quality ones flavored so you don't burp fish and flax all day.. I personally use Health from the Sun Pure Fish Oil gels and liquid, and Spectrum Cinnamon flax oil.. I take about 10g from gels, another 10 from oil, and flax another 20g so a good 40-50g EFA's daily..
