People at the boards keep telling me that I?m dedicated and kicking ass but there are days where I wish I wouldn?t have to work out. Unfortunately I have to burn calories no matter what and that?s what motivates me lately.

Does that happen to you, guys?

It doesn't happen to me very often. I'm going to experiment with the sarm stenabolic/ sr9009 it's supposed to provide endurance and stamina.

Everything has its season. Just keep pushing and get something done. Before long that feeling of getting back in the gym will hit you. Just stay strong!!

I have definitely been struggling myself recently. I’m lucky to make it to the gym 3 days a week for 45min. Just started another blast so hopefully that helps. Had been down to true trt past 4+months and hadn’t cruised that low in a couple years. Body needed a break. But the zero progress has been very un-motivating. I did lose my gut at least but just feel small. In fact a customer today said dam, u lost weight. Not sure how to take that. Made me feel small. Always been a skinny kid/guy so I’m probably taking a compliment the wrong way.

MM it's prolly bcoz you workout so often. I hit it 2 days, take a day off, repeat. Even ON, if I try to hit it 3 days in a row, that 3rd day workout suffers. Hence, I make sure I am always recovered so I am 100% full blast ready to kill it when I AM there. Even after a day rest, if I still feel like I just don't "have it", I will take an extra day rest. Keep in mind though I do train very hard AND heavy, mostly HIT, so recovery is key. I never have been the guy who just goes to "get it in", even though having to use light weights or such, just to say I was there. If I don't feel 100% and ready to at least TRY to set a PR on some lift, I'm not going. That's just me - all or nothing.

If you're talking about short-term motivation, my ritual is one hour out from the gym, I usually watch a vid of Yates, Coleman, Arnold, etc training a bodypart that I am about to train, and drink a Bang as I'm watching. An hour later I am mentally jacked and ready to kill some iron. :wallbash: :D

I’ve been pretty unmotivated lately. The same shit, day after day, month after month, year after year.....eventually you need a break. I’m just getting back to it now after taking a break for awhile, I felt like I needed it.

Hey chooch! Long time brother! Good to hear from you. I just started hanging out here again myself looking for some motivation I guess.

MG at our age we need to listen to our bodies. If I've had a hard day at work there are times that weight training would be doing more harm than good. A lack of motivation is sometimes just burn out.
I dont know what you're worried about. Your body puts most 25 year Olds to shame. So if you need a chill day, chill. You'll still be the hottest babe in whatever location you find yourself in.

I've been good for a few years now. Right now work is kicking my ass but I have made adjustments in the gym, how I sleep, if I'm not at work or the gym I'm resting or sleeping and my diet has moved more to a IIFYM (for now).

I try to stay as stress free as possible and I'm eating above maintenance so I'm still on a slow gain. I've got another month till it slows at work and I can shave my schedule down a bit.

MG we’ve said this before.... you’ve over trained yourself into some health problems I’m 100% convinced. I’ve watched your symptoms over the years and you’ve been operating with torched adrenals for years. I’ve never met anyone who has taken the condition as far as you without correcting it through behaviors so I can’t say for sure to what extent your body has lost the a ability to heal itself.

You never wanted to hear it before so I’m sure you don’t want to hear it now.

You know me too well. I have been told many times that I was overtraining but I didn?t listen and kept on going while my body and mind were telling me to take a break. My overuse injuries were all caused by my stubbornness. I?m now paying the full price.

Kluso, I?d love to hear someone tell me that I?ve lost weight because I have a distorted body image but for a bodybuilder it must be frustrating. That said I?m sure you?re not small.
