well guys i have to tell you, lately i'm just not feeling it. finding it real hard to get into the gym. this has never happened to me before... any tips?

I went to the Ontario Bodybuilding Level 3 show in July. This sparked a new flame in me, I'll tell you that much.

I think the season is over now for a few months, but I suggest everyone go watch a show when they get running again. Seeing what I can be is very Motivational. I want to be on stage one day, so that was probably the best thing I could have done to help myself.

perhaps try changing your workout around.. is the old one becoming rusty, same ol routine... not sparking your interests. have you set any goals for yourself? think of a short term goal that you would like to get too, and from there look at the future and what you REALLY are aiming for.. one step at a time!
:)
and *hug*...plus a kick in the booty to step it up a notch(from me) hehe jk!

get a good training partner bro-- they are pricless-- when i am in the dont want to be here mood

my partner pushes me past it--i do the same for him and others that train with us.

what goals do you have set for yourself--

hmmmm....Plateau? I think of climbing a mountain, and you could go straight up or take the long way around......taking the long way around still gets you there......even if you think your workouts may not be exciting right now..keep on truckin and you'll still get to the top. train with someone really focused and intense.

just started a new routine a few weeks a go. i really like it actually, its very intense!

goals are little loose right now, might be part of the problem. my last goal was to get to 200, got that now. time for some new ones i suppose...

and thanks for the kick! ;)

i had a great training partner, just went different ways regarding training. it was also hard to find a common time to get to the gym together. i have a child, so i wait until he goes to bed before going to the gym. or i go in the morning. my partner goes at 6:00 pm.

i need some new goals house. as i mentioned my last one was to hit 200. i got there and then just kind of fell apart with regards to training. i think it is time to set some new ones...

this thread is helping already, starting to get mad at myself.

Start wrestling ;)

lol, for some reason i think i would suck at that. and i don't think i have time to bb and wrestle. always liked boxing...

i'm thinking 260 house. i have always thought that if i got to 260 i would be happy. that is now the offical goal!

Well you said you were maintaining before right? That and dieting can be pretty discouraging and unmotivating. Im sure once you start bulking again you will get back into it.
Just wait till you're adding another plate to your squats and your biceps are peaking an extra 1 or 2 inches ;)

well seems i broke out of my little rut, i'm back into it big time. thanks for the words guys.
