After losing the business and going through bankruptcy my wife and i decided to move to boca raton to be with my mothers family. I flew down and landed a good job at a dealership and got a house; renting for two years until we can buy again and save as much money as possible. we are wicked happy; the only thing that sucks is i cant see my sports teams all the time any advice would be appreciated lol. just started working out this week after a two year layoff; serious working out. anyways thought i would share lata reps:iggthumpu

Hey man youre close to family, landed a job, and got a house.. great start it sounds like. Good luck down there. Which sports teams would you miss? Maybe you could see them when they play a local team or somethin lol

Hey good to hear brutha! Damn, you been outta the game for 2 years eh? So guess you'll be benching that 315 for only 15 reps until the memonry kicks in eh hehe! :p Good luck down south bro. :)

I went through the same thing 3-1/2 years ago. I moved 3,000 miles away, I jsut had to get away. All I can say is that there is life after bankruptcy. However it will probably be longer than 2 years before you can buy. Banks are not lending any money especially on the heals of bankruptcy.
Hang in there though, it gets easier!

whoa dude! that's a lot of changes in two friggen years! good luck with everything, i hope you are happier down there.

thanks doc and e1 i appreciate it. lol hank i tore my right pec two years ago and it hurts to bench 225 neva mind 315 although even after two years i can still get it for 10. being older now 35 i have really learned my body and will be careful not to get injured anymore cus it sucks. yes the family and i are really happy thanks everyone

Good job you took something that normal people would of turnt into a negative experience and made it positive. I am tired of hearing people complain and make excuses

315 for 10 after 2 year layoff...thats just insane!

Yeah...35 IS old grandpa!:p Just do more warm-ups, feel sets and stretching and you're good to go dude. On chest day, between my sets of any type of benches, I go over to the squat rack, put my hands out to the sides and grab each side of the rack and lean in slowly and far...its a helluva good way to stretch the pecs with bdwt only. Been doing that for years bro and I feel it has helped me avoid pec injuries.;)

see i always have been a big bencher my father was a powerlifter and it kinda went with the territory. my freshman year in highschool i wrestled 103 and benched 225. but this injury sucks after a couple of months i will get some pics up after i have filled back out and wait till you see the divet in my chest shoulder lower tie in its bad bro. but yeah i am going with the feel now not being crazy and banging out ridiculus weights anymore. on legs monday i did 315 for 15 on squats and felt everyone so thats where im at all about the feel and not the weight anymore.
