Just for info...Aaron sent me a text, apparently they started a shuttle service for $6. Save your money and take the shuttle instead of a cab.

Ima probably has it, but you can send it to me. Sorry you can't make it, but Ima and I promise to take pictures of things other than Tim.
who said you can take pics of me at all? soul stealer

Thanks for posting Seth, I didn't know if I'd get online or not. The shuttle is from the airport to hotels on the strip for 6 bucks... which is an awesome deal! I never noticed this before, and it usually would cost at least 25 or more for a cab or limo ride.

For anyone who will be here: I'll be at the 1 o'clock press conference Thursday, hoping to meet up with some folks thursday night, expo saturday for sure, and maybe expo friday too to get more free stuff. We'll be going to hoover dam one day, i'm not sure which day.

Yeah my plans are up in the air too. I probably won't be available until Friday and Saturday though. Possibly Sunday too. Do you have the name of the shuttle service? That would be cool. I was told that the bus system was pretty good and that it was $5 a day...do any of you know about this?

I won't be arriving until early Friday morning, probably around 4-5...ugh. I won't be leaving until 8PM on Thursday, as any earlier would be a waste of time due to rush hour traffic lasting a few hours. We'll see though, I may just leave earlier and drive through the car pool lane lol.

There are no roundtrip flights that I've found, and I don't have money for 2 tickets.

Oh well, should be an interesting drive out there.

Shuttle was showtime I think. From baggage claim just head out the shuttle/limo door instead of the taxi door. The one we took was at the far end by the number 14 baggage thing. Never used the bus in town, but the monorail is very nice for getting up and down the strip.

The shuttle is great! There is a booth that Aaron is talking about and you just go up tell them where you are going and they will get you on the next one that comes around. Cheap and takes you to your hotel front door. I was reading that if you plan on going to the Orleans and Convention center that they will be running a free shuttle back and forth between the 2.

On another note I will not be attending this wonderful adventure. I came to the realization that there is just to much going on right now this weekend and that I made a local rugby team. I hope you all have a great time! Next year I will plan for this for sure.

FYI: it is apparently bike week here coming up... so that should be fun!

Yup. thats what we heard... freemont street is supposedly going to be nuts. at least according to our driver.

Have a safe trip to Vegas. Enjoy!!! Can't wait to hear all the funny stories and see all the pictures.

sounds like a nice idea....

Ok guys...I'm in Vegas...this place is amazing. :D I'm about to check out the Gold's gym on Flamingo street.

Oh and by the way, this internet is $13 a day! :eviltongu So I won't be on much unless I find some free wireless hotspots.

I went over to Freemont street yesterday afternoon...that was sweet. Last night I just walked up and down the strip taking pics. I got up yesterday at 3 in the morning because I couldn't sleep any longer. I didn't go to bed until 10 last night. It was a long day. I slept hard!

the one on flamingo heading east past eastern? thats the one i train at. its quite nice, and the manager there was saying that jay cutler is there from time to time during contest prep as well. doubt youll see him there this close to the show though.

I made it too! My flight was delayed out of San Diego which turned out to be a blessing rather then a curse. As I walked in to the gate area I noticed an obvious -and gorgeous- female BB waiting for the same flight. We ended up talking and she's a BB pro. She just missed qualifying for the Olympia by 1 spot but had photoshoots and expo work here.

We ended up chatting the whole flight, sharing a cab to the Orleans and exchanging phone numbers. It was funny, people kept stopping her, taking pictures and asking for authographs. Because she had so much luggage I ended up helping her carry her cooler with food, when folks would look at me, with a pondering look I would just tell em I was around to carry the food. LOL

She's way cool though, said she would introduce me to her friends and folks in the circuit and help me find a posing coach in San Diego. I had my eye on one already and it was the same one she recommended.

Anyway, instant click, loads of fun, positive energy and a general feeling of excitement. This will be an awesome week-end!

p.s. On the note of happy hour Friday night, I know Karen has tickets to the show and the Mr. Olympia judging/Fitness and Ms. Olympia finals are on Friday night at 7PM. so I am not sure if she can join us. For me... I am up for anything, I have kept my agenda open.

Way cool Ima! Glad you went up and chatted with her.

My friend and I might not quite make it to happy hour, like if my plane get's delayed...or we run into any traffic. Do you all still think you will hang around for dinner...or what. My friend is very familiar with Blondie's, she used to work in the same casino a few yrs ago. She's excited to meet everyone too.
