I was wondering if this is good diet for adding on muscle mass and staying lean.
Breakfast 6:30
4egg substitutes
cup of oatmeal w/ ON protein powder
1 apple
bagel with peanut butter
snack 9:00
1 meso-tech bar
lunch 12:00
2 cans tuna(sometimes add hot sauce for flavor)
8 oz milk
1 apple or other fruit
or
school lunch depends what they have that day
workout 2:30
5 grams glutamine before workout
after workout
protein shake with another 5 grams of glut.
1 protein bar
1 apple with peanut butter on side
1 hour after workout
2 chicken breast
2-2 1/2 cups sweet potatoes
before bed
1-1 1/2 scoops protein powder w/ 8oz water
somepeanut buttter and raisins
sometimes I substitute sweet potatoes with 1cup brown rice, and should the cup be before cooked or after and when I have 1 cup oatmeal should it be 1 cup dry then add water or 1 cup cooked. I am also taking 6 weeks off of creatine, just seeing if it does anything. should I add more food and if so to what. I am a senior in high school and the food is not healthy in lunch, (big suprise). I bring my meso tech bar and lunch to school then go to gym after school.
