I don't think most knew, except his close friends and in the pro bb circle, of HOW bad he was into it. His two best friends and training partners Flex and Rico McClinton flat out told him if he don't stop, they want nothing to do with him. They thought he would die from how much and consistent he was partying doing drugs.

What he coulda achieved will never be known, and everyone, including all the best pros of the 90's & early 2000's, said Chris NEVER reached his peak for even one show, due to his partying life style. Man that's gotta be a helluva regret to live with, knowing what you realistically "might" have done, and Chris himself knows it. Ronnie, when talking about having to carry Chris back to his hotel room bcoz he was so messed up, even said himself if Chris took bb more seriosuly, he prolly woulda won a few O's.
