Ok, I was thinking maybe you guys could come up with some creative suggestions for a new company I have started to build.
It is a company offering IVR (interactive voice response), eLearning courses, On Hold messages, etc. IVR are messages set up on a system. The system recognizes your response and starts a new message based on your response. An example would be if you called an airline company and someone is talking to you, but it is not live and they ask you, "where are you flying to?" and you say "Seattle" and then they say, "Seattle? Ok, let me find your information". My business would be recording those messages. It's a little more complicated than that, but you get the picture.
Elearning courses are courses mainly used by unversities to teach students a certain curriculum without having an actual teacher. They do sit in a classroom though with computers at their desks. My business would be to record the material in the preferred format with a professional voice over talent as the "teacher."
I think everyone knows what On hold messages are. That is when a company puts you on hold and then you have to listen to a bunch of mumbo jumbo about their company. They might also ask you to hit a certain number or numbers to diret you through the proper channel and get you to the right person.
I hope I have not overwhelmed you.
The name I am stuck on right now is Voxel Inc. There are already quite a few Voxel's out there, but they are offering different services. BTW, most of their websites suck as well. Mine is going to have the flash appearance of clatterdin.com, but the look of a major corporation.
So does anyone have any cool names that pop off the top of their head. Or maybe you've thought, "that would be a cool name for a company" before, but had no use for it? Well, if you've got anything, please let me know! Thanks - Jared
