new to football

I never watched football growin up, all I knew was there was 4 downs to get 10 yards. but as I get older I find myself watchin alot more sports, last night I watched the pitsburg game. I didnt think much of that rothlesberger, he kept gettin sacked. who are some of the best QB's in the game right now? I used to like the patriots years ago but after I read about them cheating I dont like them anymore, detroit and buffalo are close to me in Toronto canada so I was gonna follow them but I dont know anybody in the line ups or the QB's. I like to watch teams where they go for the long throwing plays, which teams resemble that style of play? watching pittsburg keep trying to go thru the middle, I thought they were retarded but having a young coach like that, he must be talented to be there. I used to be a dallas fan in the aikman days and a raiders fan cuz of the logo but hell I cant ever remember a season they kicked ass lol any info or comments for someone new to football, what to watch for etc. I wanted to see farve do good in NY but I understand after talkin with some people how hard it must be for him to adapt to a new game and plays after so long in a different system.
 
Buffalo is 3-1 this year and best start in years they have a history of losing though they lost 4 superbowl in the late 80's and early 90's. And a quarterback is only as good as his offensive line. Rothelsberger is one of the best qb's in the game, just does not get time to throw the ball and his main running back willie parker is out for 3 weeks. Eli Manning, brett favre, payton manning those are the best in the game right now. I am a diehard jets fan.

Just watch and enjoy you learn as u got.

the cowboys is my team. Theyve been hyped to all hell lately and have alot of good players. But it seems like theyre still not quite living up to their potential yet. The bengals couldve had them if they didnt fumble that last time...

Buffalo Bills baby..Some of the most hardcore fans in the country.. Many dudes from other teams will say it is one of the hardest places to play at.. I live rite by buffalo.. Anyone else?

I just concentrate on the Giants, 'Skins, Dirty Birdies, 'Boys year in and year out rivalry.

The NFC East is always in the thick of things in the playoffs.
 
Haven't watched football since they stopped showing the cheerleaders at half-time.

Im white to, what has that got to do with anything??? Who do the bitches play this week??? Philly, good luck with that....Philly is pretty banged up, so even a crappy team should beat them, so i expect the whiners to lose....
 
I hate the 49ers simply because they used to buy rings. THank god for salary cap because it was getting boring with cowboys and 9ers winning every single year in 80's and 90's. The league now is a through up with an exception of maybe 4 teams. KC,detroit,st. louis, and i want to say the bengals but they show signs of life.

Nope, not from the Bay area....Cali boy that was bred a Raider fan...My late grandfather would put me on his lap and teach about Silver and Black...He would make lots of goodies and spoil me every sunday as we watch the game....I miss those days....Its been rough lately, and it hurts more sundays than not, but i would not have it any other way....My wife sees me after a loss and says, "why dont you just change teams?"....Are you kidding me, change teams??? Woman, you cant just change teams......Sorry, just reliving the last two games....Im in the process of breeding my son as another member of the Nation.....I know it will bring him some heartache in his life, but what does not kill him will only make him stronger, I hope anyway......Win, Lose or Tie, Raider till I die......
