I think I invented this one haha! :igok: The dumbells at the gym only go up to 100's. I've gotten to the point where I can rep them 20 times on flat bench. Far from what I was doing when ON, but hey, I can dig it for being OFF for about 2 years. Anyways, I've been tryin' to think about how can I go heavier. I can't do flat bb bench - stopped that 12 years ago due to rotator cuff issues. Sooo, today I had the idea of getting my boy who normally spots me to hold a pair of 20lb dumbells on TOP of the 100's as I pressed. Told him to not push down on them or lift up, but just to balance them on top of the 100's. Fuckin' eh, shit worked great - instant 120's for 12 reps!
So no excuses now for anyone to complain about dumbells not being heavy enuff! :igok:
