It's a Verrucous Keratosis; one of the classifications of Seborrheic Keratosis, non-cancerous benign skin growth that begins to form in the keratinocytes, the predominant cell type in the epidermis, the top-most layer of the skin. Verrucous keratosis are visible as the person ages. It 's been on my nose as an open sore for 6 months. Doesn't bleed anymore but has gotten bigger. I used liquid nitrogen tonight and froze it. I have to stop the growth of mutated cells. At least it's mostly a surface blemish but supposedly stress-related. Need to alter the lifestyle. I can live with it for now. Whew, moving on...

I had this on top of my head. I froze it off over one summer. It took a while and many treatments until it quit.

Wish I'd have gotten the biopsy 6 months ago. It got 3 times as big since then. Oh well, burned it once so far and will probably have to be burned at least 2 more times. Sucks as it's bigger than the size of a nickel. Man up and move on!

I come here to be referred to as a "lunatic" by a mod. You're keeping it real, for sure. Sometimes I wonder if that's what keeps me going. Maybe ... you'll piss me off enough to get out of my funk and back on a line. Be a good thing all around...

Lost my first layer of skin from the treated area on my nose this morning. A solid peel. Interesting how thin the layers of the skin on the nose is. Might not be so bad after several treatments. Doing it myself and it's working out. In other news, my weight was 269.5 last night. Funny.
