oatmeal

its reall good in the mornings as a carb source, especially since your trying to gain weight
 
I get the cheap walmart brand of whole rolled oats, then microwave them for a couple of minutes, as good as any in my opinion.
 
i thought microwaved oatmeal was like th highest on the GI index
 
The GI increase is negligibly when microwaved. Yes, it goes up, but with oats, it doesn't effect it as much as say something like potatos.

I usually just throw mine in my protein drink and either let it sit over night and soften, or I just blend it together in my Magic Bullet blender.

Unless you go out and add a ton of sugar and fat to them, oats are gonna be good to go anytime, even if it is the 1 minute oats.

Yeah, they need some larger size cups for sure.

It was a mess for ya huh? Man, I find it a simple cleanup actually.
