Not only does it snap the wrong way, he has to watch the weight come down and bend it further. I don't understand these ego lifters. He's got the machine loaded up to the gills, and he can't even get a 1/4 rep with it, then he locks his knees. He shouldn't have been messing with that weight in the first place. His legs should be 4 times the size if he's pushing that. In a way I feel bad for him because that really sucks, but in another way I don't, because he should know better. You can't let your ego dictate the workout. People just want to be seen by other people. I guarantee you if nobody was there to watch he would've kept it a lot lighter. That got me a little fired up.
 
That is nasty. I saw it on FB Saturday. His ego got the best of him for sure. It was really stupid of him to have that much on the to move 4". idiot.
 
Lesson 112B. If you have 18 inch legs don't max out the leg press with 45's. What the hell was this boy thinking?
