Pan Am 2015

So, this year the games are about an hour from me... as a suprise, I bought a pair of tickets to see the weightlifting on the weekend for hubby and I. Fingers crossed I can pull it off without bursting with excitement and also that it ends up being a good day in terms of competition Does anyone else have any tickets to see any other events? It's a shot in the dark but I thought I might as well ask

I'm not going this year. Last one I competed in was in Denver with it hq'd at the red lion. I came in something like 18th in the unlimited raw class. I has very close to 2,000lb total. But all the guys ahead of me were at least 20 years younger. But still not bad competing against guys from Panama to Canada.
Have fun. Where are yhey being held this year?

In & around Toronto! I'm gonna have to start reading up on all the athletes soon so I sound like I know what I'm talking about

I'm just north of Toronto goldengirl and I may go to some of the events outside the city. I don't even want to go close to Toronto. Though I heard ticket sales have been very low.
Was trying to get tickets for the men's basketball.

Hmmmm. That's weird but I know that tickets to the horse events sold out super fast! Not sure about everything else though...
