I am not a pharmacist or a mixologist or a doctor but I have always wondered. I especially started wondering when the blends started to come out. I'm with Rich on the blends. I'd rather measure out my own dose of each. I just wish he had some kind of proof to back up his theory. Until he does that, to me, he is full of shit about the amount per cc.

I've never run var. To me its too expensive for what it does and what you get. Also not worth it since it is faked so much.

FWIW I tested 7o or 8 batches of raw Var over the years and all of them came up Var.

I think the "chemists" in the house would be the ones that could answer the question regarding that vid with Piana. I have never home brewed - wouldn't have a clue. Anyone? I think Bass would be the master to know if what Piana says is true regrarding the test mg amount.
I remember I was a "test subject" back in like '04 or '05 for some test e 500mg per ml in EO. Was smooth as could be, no pain at all. But of course I never had it tested, so who knows if it was really 500mg, 300mg or 250mg? I know the ol' T-400 was famous for leaving many limping like dogs, among others. I always thought the BA amount was the main culprit with test pain, not the actual mg amount.

I did my own brewing for a few years but never pushed the solubility limits. Something like test E is soluble in just 2% BA and safflower oil at 250 mg/ml. I've never tried but i would imagine if one was to add 20% BB and cut the oil with 20% EO it the mixture would carry the day. Test E will turn to a liquify wax at 25-30 degrees Celsius so I would imagine it would hold at pretty high concentration. It may not even require EO. Stuff like this is trial and error to some extent. There are charts in Chemistry handbooks that give activities of solvents. Generally, decent chemists will refer to them when devising a solvent mixture.

I tend to believe Rich because of his experience and knowledge. That said I have had Test E at supposedly 500mg/ml. It was impossible to push through a 25 guage needle and I had to use 20's.
As far as var being faked I'm the guy using 100mg ed of it and get great strength gains from it. So I will continue to use whatever it is.

Some of best test I ever had was labeled 500mg per ML and while running 1ml (500mg?) a week my blood work came back 1879ng/dl at age 45 needless to say my doctor freaked out on me..
