So what do some of you shorter guys wear, name brand wise, for polo style of shirts. I can't find a polo shirt that fits that doesn't look like a night gown. It seems all the manufacturers are going after the "Abercrombie" look. I mean there isn't even a "loose" fitting polo shirt that i can find. They all are after that "tight" fitting look.

how tall are you man? close fits me fine :) I think when you start getting into the XL's they can't help but be longer for those tubby guys.

5'8".

I am not after the "tight fitting hey look at my muscles look" that some guys like. But I am not after the "thug baggy look" either. I just want a nice fitting polo. I can get that in an XL in most places but the length is a problem when it goes down past my ass. The larges give me the "hey look I lift weights look". I don't like that. Just my preference.

The length isn't the only problem. I've got a 33 waist and large and x-large shirts are made for people with big stomachs as well as big shoulders.

The name brand shirts I wear is Hanes. They fit great and you can buy them anywhere.

ive just about givin up on clothes in any of the *cool* stores....im picky about the way a shirt falls & if the front goes past the middle of my fly i cant stand it

i have braud shoulders, so its not always easy 2 find somethin....& i cant wear anythin from crombie or whatever b/c i eat & dont weigh 110lbs @ 6'

I wear polo style shirts for work almost every day - I found that the cheap ones that Old Navy sells are a bit on the short side for me (I'm 6'1") - so you might check those out...
