Post workout shakes

1. I usually drink a shake right after my workout. I'm trying to cut right now so I don't want to use too little or too much. Right now my shake has 50g of protein and 25g carbs. Is this a good amount?

2. I lift two muscle groups when I'm in the gym. Would it be a good idea to lift one muscle group, drink half of my protein shake and then drink the other half at the end of my workout? What I mean by that is lift chest drink half and then lift back and drink the other half.
 
I'd say increase post workout carbs (in shake) to around 40g and drink after entire workout is complete.
 
right now the 25g of carbs is straight dextrose, should i add some complex carbs to the mix?

Naw, you're fine with dextrose, fructose...whatever....just the fast acting carbs/sugar to spike insulin....you sound like you know what you are doing, just stick to it until you reach your goal.
