Some of you know I have CHF and the meds they give are diretics which I know lowers Potassium levels.

My question is to the EDUCATED (lol) men on here. Here's my situation.

I stopped taking a dose of test Cyp when I found out about my problem, which was around the 1st of Nov. The blood doc said my test level was over 1500 and I was only taking 1cc(250mg) every 10 days at the time. He said once a month would be more in the normal range.. (Not what I would've thought with cyp)

I'm thinking to pin again to help with raising test level out of the dumps, which MIGHT help my recovery and P levels..?

Thoughts? Concerns? Questions? Thanks....

Many studies show test increases exercise capacity in CHF. I'm certain test helped in my case. I use .5 arimidex ed to. I take 40mgs lasix ed so that I don't have to adhere to a sodium restriced diet and my Potassium has always been fine when I have bloodwork done.

I take 500 mg lasik right now! I'm sure they're gonna dry me out too damn fast again.

The sodium isn't the hard part, the 64 Oz of liquid per day is though.

I'm considering 50-75 mg a week of test cuz I'm in the dumps right now with all this....
Thanks LI
Thanks to Bananas too

Wow 500mgs is a hefty dose. I would bet that will be reduced, it's probably why your bp gets so low.

I'm wrong, had to check its 200 daily. (10- 20 mg)

Still rough tho. I think all the heart meds I'm extra sensitive to

Can't offer advice on heart meds but I once had critically low potassium levels that became a VERY serious situation thus affecting my heart. Assuming you will be closely monitored by your docs, just be careful as low potassium can be dangerous.
