I cureently don't take any supplements.. All my lifting has been done as natural as can be (the numbers in my journal are pure natural strength). My question is, I have seen that BCAA and GLutamine are the best alternative to creatine and all that... with helping muscle recovery and rebuilding. Should I start trying them? Also, I was wondering if I should take Glusomine for my joints... I have shoulder probelms that bother me when I first start my lifting for the day but as I move along in the exercises that they don't bother me as much. Please let me know what you think....

things I think that are essential for you to take are

a good multi-vitamin morning and at night
1g of vit C morning and night
green tea 3-4x a day
fish oil caps 6 a day
whey protein obviously

all the others IMHO are optional, you need to try them to see if you benefit from them or not

glucosimine works for some people, but not all, you'll have to try it and give it a few weeks to see if it is helping or not, another option for joints is cissus, check into that

what is cissus?
http://www.bulknutrition.com/?products_id=2475

Cissus Quadrangularis has been a staple of traditional Indian medicine for centuries. USPlabs researchers discovered the power of this unique herbal remedy and have now made it available to Western athletes and bodybuilders, or anyone else who wants to strengthen muscle and bone. Its unique blend of vitamins, minerals, and plant sterol compounds not only build and strengthen muscle and bone, but actually helps deliver nutrients to tendon related injuries, while at the same time soothe the pain of sports related injuries.

why dont you wanna use cREATINE????

it really helps add on some extra pounds to the bar

nope.. no protein powder what so ever. No Creatine, whey or any other supplements. and adding pounds to the bar, I always try to outdo my self each week whether or not it is DC training.
