Who washes their rice till the water is clear?

I?ve been told to do this for years and never have but I?ve started and it makes the rice taste way better in my opinion

Depends if white or brown...white is all bleach and they basically removed the fiber from the rice which then makes it not as nutritious...brown I don't rinse and simply steam it out

I prefer jasmine rice and it's good if washed a little.

Never do it. Never knew it was a thing to be honest. I've heard of people rinsing chicken breast but I didn't understand that either.
