RIP Larry Scott

The legendary first Mr. Olympia has passed away on March 8, 2014 due to complications associated with Alzheimers disease. He was 75. Anyone have a link with details, please post up.

We've been talking a lot about this on other boards but as sad as it is to see one of our brothers in iron pass away it's good to see one of the original "Old Timers" pass from something somewhat natural and something other than Kidney/liver failure and heart disease...

He's the reason my guns are 20.5 and 21"s. The Scott curl, better known as the preacher curl. That and good genes I guess.
The dude helped so many people and passed on his knowledge. BBing is what it is today because of the foundation laid by guys like Larry.

i can't believe this.not more than 2wks ago i was talking about Larry Scott to a friend who doesn't know much about the pioneers of the sport and i told him to look him up to compare to the ones today...and here i read Larry's passed on.what a shame,the man was a legend while alive and will be even more of one now that he's passed on.
