Wow very sad. He was one of the few I watched hit stardom in the 90s.

RIP Nasser. He was a true genetic freak

It looks liek surgery for a pec tear. And maybe an umbellicle hernia.

He was one of the first MONSTERS of the sport. A true ground breaker. RIP!

He was 47, Shawn Ray just posted on MD that his death is confirmed but as yet no details have been released. Some are saying he had diabetes since age 15. Some others are saying he was batteling a bout of malaria?

I read somewhere he got malaria while visiting Egypt, and his kidneys failed bcoz of it. But hey rumors - need to wait for confirmation.

He was one of the original mass-monsters of the 90's - representing a time in this game that I really enjoyed. To place 2nd, and 3rd 3x in the O is saying alot. Many think he should have won the '97 O.
