From the GripBoard's Tom of Iowa2, comes welcome news that someone is able to use the weights I use!
"Drop buy Metro Flex gym in Arlington Texas-the home of Mr.Olympia,Ronnie Coleman.
Jerry Novak/Paul Armstrong,Infinite Strength & Steel just made a pair of 225's and a pair of 250's especially for Mr.Coleman.
They were delivered there last week end.
The dumbell photos should be up on the Infinite Strength & Steel website soon and will appear in Ronnie Colemans next video.They are actuallyy a bit heavy-MetroFlex also purchashed the INCH2(172#,steel dumbell,2.47"handle)they said Ronnie stood up with it,first try.Nobody else at MetroFlex-a hard core-powerlifting/bodybuilding gym has lifted it yet.
Not the 450's your talking about but a pair of 315#'s are in the works for another well known strength athlete.
I can only imagine what the 315's will look like.
Seriously-the owner of MetroFlex has these dumbells available at his gym.Strong guys on the forum?Or IF you have some strong friends?Buy a day pass and sign a release of liability and give them a try.Very cool implements.Most beautiful pieces of steel I've ever seen. "
