I'm thinking a long the lines of a vrod. Also liking the Yamaha midnight warrior and a couple others. We got a lot of riders here, what you guys think would be an easy transition cruiser?

And 1900 raider looks nice.... So much fckn selection. Want to stay below 10 thousandon

Damn bro...
Good luck with that transition!

I tried to go from my last sportbike (Duc 999) to a cruiser and failed miserably. The thrill just wasn't there.

However I did make the leap to another bike. I got into "adventure" bikes. And the bike that fed the urge and has kept me quite happy is what I have now; a Yamaha Super Tenere. This bike could get you out of the apocalypse. And it's got enough power to satisfy.

The only cruiser I rode that was satisfying was the Ducati Diavel. It still handles extremely well. The Vrod didn't do it for me. If I only cared about fast in a straight line, it would be a cool ride.

I love my Road King. Sporty yet classic. A cruiser easy to control. And cool enough for me and cushy enough for the old lady. I've had 3 of them. And mines paid for.

I have been on a couple rides this year and holy, 45mins to an hour max on it. I've sucked it up for so many years but now after riding my friends cruiser I feel it's time

I don't drive too fast but I let it go on the odd clear county road

I'm really liking the Yamaha raider. Looks almost like a chopper but a mix of cruiser and chopper

Yeah the road king is a very nice ride. I rode one the other day and was VERY impressed. Surprisingly very good control and handling for a cruiser

I just sold a 03 fatboy. Very comfy, 18" hangers and all. I own a 2007 hayabusa that I'm trying to sell so I know what your going through. Road kings are bad ass as well. Can't go wrong with a road king or fatboy.

Can't go wrong with my Street glide... I enjoy every ride every time i throw my leg over.. Damn sounds nasty... lol

Buy ya a bagger. .. The new street glides are fast smooth and easy to throw around .
I always build my own bikes but you can't beat a fairing and a stereo with the sound and a snappy engine .you can buy a nice street glide for your 10k mark

Dude look at the New Yamaha Vmax. Or buy my 04 Fatboy and i will go get the Vmax!!!

I love my road king. You can find the used cop road kings fairly cheap and well maintained. I like the street glides also. However the fairing blows my beard up into my eyes.

I've been trying to sell off the sport for the last month. No takers yet.

I rode the street glide and it was smooth

If you havent ridden the Duc Monster I would check that out. They are on the market used. Fast but comfortable.

I concur with this.
And now is a good time to look at the Duc Monster because they model body is shifting, as is the engine. You'll be able to get a sweet deal.

And if someone tells you that Duc's are mechanical/maintenance whores, they don't know what they're talking about. Duc stepped up their game in about 04, and they're solid.

Here's my black 999; it was an 05. Absolutely mechanically solid; and I beat the hell out of this on the track. A LOT. They're even better now.
