Give me some ideas brothers...I'm mad at myself that I can't come up with a good idea to make some extra money on the side. Is there something y'all are doing or planning to start?

wife used to do amazon and lyft years ago when it actually paid, they are trash now would not recommend. got a buddy doing junk outs on the side cleaning debris from houses and yards, you need a truck and trailer. if you got mechanics skills, changing brakes is always a needed pretty easy (older cars) job. i just buffed my car because its now called "paint correction" and they doubled the price, its really just buffing the paint.. if you have a niche in anything its probably exploitable it some extent..

ive always thought about property preservation, fancy name for house and apt clean out, lock changes, snow bird house watching type duties. gotta know some realtors to get in the door usually

seem alot of the old school cash paid jobs are tuff to find most take some ligit time to figure out.

good luck

Depends on the area you live in as far as the driving jobs go. What Guage said is true about Lyft and the changes. We live in Rancho Mirage, Ca. The Palm Springs is big for tourists this time of year. My wifes son and Fiance for the last few years have been doing Door Dash and Uber Eats. Tons of restaurants around here and they stay very busy.
They also travel around the country and pay their way doing deliveries wherever they find themselves. I'm talking everywhere. I'm very happy about it because they've stopped asking for money. I was starting to resent the both of them. Stayed with us for 6 months one time. They have 2 little ones that we love. Mom and Dad dropped out of College in Kansas where they met to start a family. They actually planned to have a baby at 20 or 21 yrs of age. That was the extent of the plan. How they were going to pay for everything was an afterthought.

Longterm, I don't know what's going to happen. My first wife and I had 2 girls and 2 boys. Started younger than these 2. We divorced after 16 yrs. We didn't plan any of them and things have finally calmed down some. I've been married this time for 11 years. We're still on our honeymoon. We do like our time alone though. When her grandkids are with us she is her happiest I have to say and thats whats important to me. When I fell in 2008(ORD) we were living together but not married. She did 5 years right along with me. She wouldn't answer any questions when they came.

I wish she had. Prison is no place for decent human beings. The womens facilities are much different but still. She's had a tough go of it. If I'm the best thing that's ever happened to a gal, you can bet she's had a tough life. The experience has made each of us very grateful for what we have today. We enjoy every day together. We are with each other every day and night.

As usually happens I got off topic and ended up talking about myself. Apologies. The driving can be a decent gig if you live in a place for that kind of thing.

Do you know any trades? Any tradesman I know can do sidework for cash without even really trying to find work. Once your name is out & if you’re good, word of mouth is all you need to get pretty steady work.
