it wasnt widely used as a given no. wasnt til in the 90s when they started making it not only accepted but a part of most criminal cases

You know I don't mind that they try cases like rape or murder (or any other type of extreme case).

I'm on the fence about the death penalty also.

What I'm sick of is you can't get away with anything in todays world without paying for it. I can't get into a fist fight without ending up paying a fine or sitting in jail for the night or getting sued.

From what I've heard back in the day you got into a fight no big deal at worst it gets broken up and people get told to go home.

WTF I just want to have the ability to let people know that they are not impervious to say or do pretty much whatever they want and you can't stop them. Back in the day when you respected the guy that could rip your arms off... sigh

The DNA crime lab has been ripped in the news lately for all kinds of irregularities, so it's far from perfect.

As for the death penalty, I'm all for it, actually they need to speed things up. 1 yr after sentenced to death, the deed should be done. None of this crap for 20 something years.
