Support groups

I was giving this some thought. How many of you guys actually have friends you made here? Myself personally I've developed a pretty strong support groups with a little cliche of members. When the world gets overwhelming I know that I always have D, BT and FD right there if I need something.

I hope you guys are taking full advantage of what you really have here.

I've made some great friends here. People that care. Good friends are very hard to find. Most of the world is made up of back stabbers, people that just either use you for something they want, or turn on you in an instant when its time to run over you. So you better take good care of the real ones you have, where ever you find them.

oh i have that's for sure.whether from this board directly or other boards i've got at least 4-5ppl,one of whom i talk to on a daily basis and is there for me whenever i need him as well as others.to find someone that you can actually call on the phone and just talk to when you really need it is truly a gift.finding someone to trust goes a long way in this world,i'm glad i found the few people i choose to call close friends...perhaps even my best friends altho we all live in different states.

you said it bro....i am really greatful for all the bros ive met here....its nice to talk to guys with a similar intrest....all the guys i train with dont get as in depth into lifting and nutrition like i do.......
 
When I came on the boards 10 years ago I would have never imagined actually becoming friends with those I met online. However I did and have met a few in person who became good friends.
 
Funny you should open this can of worms. My oldest son has asked me many times why I don't have any friends.
Due to my life style and practices as well as other more vocational type reasons, I don't have what you would call best friends. I don't let people get too close. I cannot tell or talk to people about things I do like the aas use and other things, even in my past as a drug dealer/smuggler/1%er I could never let anyone get too close.
That said, you guys are my "support group" and virtual friends which is about as close as I get.

And you learn who to call in each situation...

If I want some sense talked into me I call Glycomann.

If I want someone to relate to me as a mental patient I call oZzy.

If I want to feel guilty about being a whore I text FD (he's uniquely unwhore).

If I want someone to consign my bull shit and cheer me on as a whore I call BT.

If I want someone to tell me it's always ok even during a nuclear holocaust I call willi.

If I want the most serene calmness from a listener that lets me do all the talking I call LL.

If I want someone to tell me how pretty I am I have to get in touch with this guy from another board.

I blame all of u...each and every last one of you for the peer pressure u bestoyed upon me to up the dose of the god nectar...I was an animal....oh wait.......that hasn't changed...
And yes....those were the days......not to long ago really.
