I have been job hunting for 3-4 months now, have put my application out in so many places it is not funny. Well I had my FIRST, yes first interview on thursday after all that time. Well they just called me today and said they hired someone else..............:bawling:

I am getting really worried, I have a family to support and I can't find a job anywhere, my family business is almost bankrupt. I have nowhere to turn.........
 
G4E do you ever call them back or do you wait for them to call you? I could almost swear its good to call them up in a few days to see if they have even looked at it, it makes it seem if you are more interested then others. I could almost swear to do this....
 
yep, I got a list of everywhere and I go down the list and call them all once a week, doesn't seem to be helping. I might be forced to go to a temp agency

You should just apply for the PD. They're always hiring and you get to shoot people.

Keep postitive babe. Something will come up. I know it's hard, and I know what you are going through. Went through this with the hubby...more than once. The good thing is that Sheila is working. Hang in there!!

and I have no desire to work as a police officer, I need to find something till I can get in at the post office, but that could be up to 2 yrs but I will get in there. I have several people there already pulling for me. My name is on the list, just gotta wait till my name comes up, jobs are given in order of the score you get..............
 
Sorry to hear that brother. Things will change I promise you. I had a terrible time finding a job too, I'm sure I mentioned this to you at one point or another. I went a good 6 months umemployed...lol. I lucked up on the one I have now, if it wasnt for that i'd still be unemployed. I even did landscaping/pool installation to get me by. You talking about a hard ass job, try building a freaking swimming pool..lmao. Anyway bro keep that head up. You're a man bro, do what you have to do to put food on the table. There is no shame in ANY job when you have a family
 
thanks bro, I am going to a temp agency soon, I know they will give me work, don't pay as much but we will survive till i find something better

I signed up at two temp agencies and neither one has any jobs available now, they said the job market is so bad in my area right now, they are flooded with applicants........prety bad, I can't even get a temp job
