tetanus shot gone bad

got a my 10 year tetanus shot wednesday...seemed OK... by friday it was hot as hell and swollen..Friday afternoon saturday and sunday i had chills, sweats and aches and pains all over and was couch bound...by today..swelling dropped to my elbow....

all definition between delt and bi/tri gone..my arm looks like a water-filled, latex-walled tube...

got some antibiotics from my doc....

they should underline the anus in tetanus..

Damn that sounds terrible! I haven't had one in a while. Maybe I'll wait a while longer.

Did the Doctor use alchohol before the inject?
Amazing one can get a reaction like that.
Tetanus shots made me sore for 2-3 days but I never had a reaction like that.
It's got to be scary.

My last Tetanus shot didn't do a thing to me. We all react differant, you may have an allergic reaction to something in the shot.

sucks for sure....I had cellulitis years ago and this seemed a lot like that..fortunately this started to improve the morning after my first dose of meds...better still today..

Phew...
