This Stuff Is Dangerous!

They telling him he needs dialysis for life now or is he maybe going to recover to an extent?

I just talked to him yesterday. I guess I'm his hero since he thinks I saved his life. To me the paramed who pumped him full of dextrose (50ml the first shot) is the real hero.
The Dr put him on insulin. Two differrent kinds three times a day.
He has a fast acting slin which he will do during the day and a slow acting slin which he will do just before bed. ( didn't even know there was a slow acting or fast acting)
His kidneys will not recover, not sure if they even can, it's not like the liver, but he is not far gone enough yet to have to do dialysis.
So I'm curious. He was not diabetic when he started the slin several years ago. Is it possible he has become diabetic due to his abuse of the insulin? Or are they just assumig he is since he was using it already?
