Couldn't believe it!
This morning I got a call from the Philadelphia Flyers marketing group.
Turns out I won two tickets to tonight's Philadelphia Flyers match against the Canadiens!
I am totally stoked!!!
The weirdest thing is, I don't even remember filling out any contest to win them.
Totally bizarre. Must have been when I bought the Phillies tickets last year.
Anyway,
The wife said, "Go, Go, Go," so I called up an old buddy and it's party city, yeah! Allrrriiiiighghghttt!
Damn, if they win tonight it will be off to the Stanley Cup, first time in 13 years.
Even better, I have never been to a pro hockey match. I love hockey!
I was really into hockey as a kid and had gone to see the Hershey Bears several times in the 1960's. As some of you know, they were the farm team for the Flyers back then.
I am very excited.
The retail value of the tickets is $450 so I imagine they are not in the peanut gallery.
Oh yeah, it's gonna be a good night, especially if we win!
